We were told that it would have free parking and breakfast included. We had to pay for both. The 1st night the room temperature was at 80 degrees Fahrenheit and the next day we had to wait until maintenance would turn on the air conditioning. It still didn’t work properly. I asked three staff to explain what their breakfast included. No one could give me an answer. Customer service was not properly handled or provided. This hotel needs professionally trained staff especially since it is a tourist destination. I would not recommend anyone to stay there.

Everything was fantastic except the poor ventilation inside the room. We stayed two night in a city view family suit. The room had quite poor ventilation and we were lacked of fresh air since all the windows can not be opened. And the fan doesn't work very well to bring fresh air.

We had a great room, with a small living room and amazing view on the old city. The swimming pool is nice but small and facing a lot of rooms (all those not facing the city). The gym is also small. The only drawback is the elevators, for which we had to wait a lot.

The pool should have a shower before you enter the pool policy it might help the cloudiness. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Upon checking the room to make sure we had everything, we found some dust bunnies that should have been vacuumed a long time ago...but overall it was clean. The breakfast buffet is very good 👍 I would recommend this hotel as it is near downtown within walking distance and also near transit I would definitely stay here again my wife and kids loved it

We recently stayed at Hotel Palace Royal and had an absolutely wonderful experience. Our room was spacious, clean, and perfect for the two of us. The standout feature of our stay was the exceptional service provided by the staff. Salma, Nassim, and Thomas were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Their hospitality truly exceeded our expectations. The hotel's location is unbeatable – it's close to all the top tourist attractions in Quebec City and having a grocery store right on-site was extremely convenient. A special thanks also goes out to the housekeeping team for maintaining such a high standard of cleanliness. Overall, we had an excellent stay and are already looking forward to our next visit. It was close to everything however the chlorine smell was very strong even in our room as the pool was indoor. The attached restaurant was too expensive for the quality. The hotel need some renovation.
