This hotel is exceptionally located minutes away from the city center. It reminded us of small family owned hotels in Europe, which is very refreshing. The receptionist was very welcoming and friendly. The lobby and breakfast area have been updated and are modern and cozy. There is a great coffee machine in the lobby where you can make yourself good espressos and cappuccinos 24/7, as well as iced lemon water and tea. The breakfast is small but very reasonable ($15 Cdn) and good quality. the breakfast attendant was very attentive and friendly. We were lucky enough to park at a meter right across the street, just had to remember to feed the meter twice during the day (can be done with an app), nights are free 9pm to 9am. There are several parking garages close by, but we never made it to them. The Morin museum across the street is well worth a visit (and offers free guided tours!) Our room was possibly the darkest hotel room we've ever stayed in, the window faced a brick wall and was very long and narrow, and the furnishings were quite outdated. There's so much to do and see in Quebec that we only slept there, so not a big deal, but be aware. Our kids (teens and young adults) shared a bright King suite, and it had 3 windows facing the city rooftops, a king sized bed and pull out couch and a jacuzzi in the room so they were happy, lol. Dog friendly and a park right across the street, and the city walls are right up the street as well for walks.
