Detached south facing chalet built of solid wood in combination with rustic dry-stone walls. Large and uniquely elevated grounds in a private car-free wine village at the lake "Walensee". On the inside, there is a cosy living room with an open fire, a dining table, an integrated kitchen, and a small bar. To the south, there are two large panoramic sliding windows one of which opens up to the spacious terrace which is clogged with flagstones. The lush planting provides a privacy shield and allows the terrace to be used as an extended living room during the summer months. A large electric sun awning offers shade if needed.
On the upper floor, there is a sleeping room with a double bed, a single room and a gallery room with twin beds. The bathroom/toilet is also located on the upper floor. All bedrooms have their own sink and built-in wardrobe.
On the ground floor, there is a 4th bedroom with a bunk bed, sink and built-in wardrobe. There is a storage & laundry room with washing machine, freezer, storage space for the garden furniture and a mobile charcoal grill. You can also hang up your clothes for drying.
During the summer months, Quinten is an ideal destination for hiking and water sports. The lake "Walensee" is a popular sailing and wind surfing area and well known for its regular, usually daily winds between 3 and 4 Bft. Even 5 to 6 Bft. are not rare.
For nature lovers who are prepared to exchange the comforts of a central heating for a touch of "cottage romance" with open fire and mobile electric radiators the chalet offers an attractive alternative to practice winter sports:
The valley station of the aerial cableway "Unterterzen-Tannenbodenalp" is only located 5 km away. It takes you to the attractive skiing region "Flumserberg" with many lifts, cultivated ski tracks and the legendary "Terza"-downhill which certainly assumes good skill and snow conditions.
