I'm sure there's people who can find something wrong with any vacation. The entertainment was bad in any place I've been to. The a la carte restaurants were excellent. The beach restaurant was excellent. The buffet for breakfast and lunch was excellent. Our safe got jammed and they sent someone within 5 minutes. The hotel itself has a a beautiful marble lobby with entertainment every night. There are restaurants and bars everywhere. The room was beautiful. Washroom and showers in the room are great. Hotel staff were amazing.

The staff make this location. I don’t know if I could name them all. Wander was incredible. He made sure we were taken care of and was so kind and helpful. The pool entertainment staff kept the energy up at the pool and were always high energy and fun. Angelo(Baby Angelo), Robert(RoRo) are the two names I can think of but the man who does the afónica was so good too. Yuleysia was so nice and she was serving at the pool. Never went without a drink and she was always smiling. We would all return in a heartbeat. Thank you for a wanderful vacation cut too short.

The check-in took over an hour, couldn't make dinner reservations, food was lacking and cold at buffets as well as room service, staff was pushy about leaving reviews during stay instead of after. I was never offered my upgrades or VIP accesses. All 5 travelers got sick during the stay. Will not return to this property!

Disappointing Stay at Bahia Principe Luxury Bougainville I regret to say that my experience at Bahia Principe Luxury Bougainville was far from luxury. Here are the main issues I faced during my stay: 1. Location: The hotel is completely isolated and far from any civilization. If you’re looking for convenience or nearby attractions, this is not the place for you. 2. No Air Conditioning: Neither the lobby nor the restaurants had functioning air conditioning. Sitting in the heat and sweating while trying to relax or enjoy a meal was extremely uncomfortable. 3. Flies Everywhere: The constant presence of flies in the dining areas made eating unpleasant. It felt unhygienic and frustrating. 4. Tour Desk Issues: I strongly advise against booking tours through the lobby. It seems like the seller is running a personal side business. I booked three different tours, and each time I wasn’t listed for the trip at departure. I had to wait while the staff sorted things out, which wasted my time and added stress. 5. Murky Water: The water at the beach was murky and not inviting at all, which was a big letdown for a resort advertised as a luxury destination. 6. Repetitive Food: The food was highly repetitive with very little variety. It got boring quickly, and I ended up eating just to fill my stomach rather than enjoying the meals. 7. Restaurant Reservations: Booking the specialty restaurants was almost impossible. They were supposedly fully booked, but when I went to check, they were only h

I enjoyed myself. The staff was attentive and caring. Isabel from hotel relations was kind and courteous. The hotel did have some rules. Such as changing different liquor in the evening and one towel per day rule.
