Rap music and swearing in hotel lobby.
Two sets of towels for a booking of 4.
Asked for towels 3x- said they'd bring to room. Never came
Super dusty on the ceiling of breakfast area.
Staff was terrible. The guy at the desk was super nice when we checked in but all staff except for him was rude and seemed inconvenienced by us. Staff ignored us standing at the desk and was irritated when we rang the bell. The Gym (if you could call it a gym) was unsafe and a law suit waiting to happen. Equipment was from the 70’s and 80’s. Nothing worked and the place smelled bad. The weights had 2 25, 2 20’s and 2 10lb. That’s it. Breakfast had to be eaten standing up because there were only a few tables but not enough chairs. And breakfast selection was poor. Won’t be staying here again.
Was pleasantly surprised by this hotel which has gone through quite the life already. The renovations are pleasant, it was clean and quiet. The breakfast could be improved but the price of stay couldn’t be beat.
Stayed here multiple times and there is always something not working, and staff does nothing to help. This last time was worst, the room was so beyond freezing that I had to sleep in sweater and coat and multiple extra blankets and still was cold and shivering all night. Staff was unhelpful and walked away mid sentence and is rude. She was acting like I caused her a huge inconvenience by having to get off her phone in the office when I asked to fix heat or change rooms, which I couldn’t switch, nor would they even discount the room at all for the heat not working. Was very obvious they did not care… The place is so run down, beds not very comfortable and not the most clean. Stayed here to save money and I’m very not picky but having a room that’s like a freezer is beyond not acceptable.
My wife is recovering from being hit by a car and having both legs broken. This hotel has 3 handicap stalls near the entrance. One was being used legitimately while the other 2 were occupied by trucks, one so he could plug in a deep freezer in the bed of the truck, the other was a truck with a snow plow ( no handicap indicators on either vehicle). When I mentioned this situation to the desk clerk I was told that there was nothing he could do about it. The parking lot was quite full so it was very inconvenient for us. If this is how things are managed why have the handicap stalls at all?

Staff was very accommodating. Handicapped parking was at the bottom of a very steep sidewalk. I use a manual chair so very hard to get up. Large lip that wheels of the chair got stuck in at the start of the wheelchair ramp. Very difficult to get out of. Also a large grate on a part of the sidewalk was large enough spaces for the wheelchair to get stuck in. Impossible to get out of. No, automatic door. Hard to get into the building.

Was a nice stay, nice room. Love the forest look to the hotel. I’d suggest calling to make sure the pool is open first as the pool and hot tub was closed for maintenance.

Staff are friendly, pool was clean, our room was really noisy.
Staff were welcoming and helpful. The facility is large and spacious with amenities like pools, a sauna, ponds, gardens, and high ceilings that make you feel like you are in a jungle. A really neat experience and contrast to the city of Prince George. However, I believe that the room could have received a more diligent cleaning, mirrors were streaked, tables were oily and the room had a strong chemical odour. Also, with an absence of elevators or electric/assisted opening doors, loading and unloading your belongings proved to be more challenging.
It was disappointing not knowing the pool was shut down and i also asked for a bottom floor and didnt get it

It was a good location however I was looking forward to using the pool but it was under maintenance . Also the fridge was dripping water and we threw towels down on the floor and we were told it would be attended to in the morning so we got up early so that we would be ready for the maintenance to come to fix it and they didn’t show up
But otherwise a good visit
They advertise restaurant and an awesome pool/hottub. This is why we took kids there for a treat. None of it was available but price was full price no discount. It was promised for the next day to be open so we stayed an extra day. Nothing opened. Very disappointed
I was very disappointed to see the condition of this once wonderful hotel. The restaurant used to have beautiful seating amongst the treed section and the water feature used to run and sounded so calming. The carpets are old and dirty, the stair wells are dingy and the only way to grt to the second floor. I had a complaint which the front staff did their best but asked me to email head office. I did that and a week later i have not had any response.
