Best place to stay seaside outside of Porto
The apartment could not be in a more beautiful location. Slide the glass door in the living room open and the ocean is right there! Plenty of bars, restaurants and shopping within walking distance and only an 8 euro/ 10 minute Uber ride from Porto city center. So perfect place to escape after long days touring Porto. Alex was a great host. He met us at the apartment to show us everything we needed to know and communicated prior to and throughout our stay. Highly recommend!

Amazing Stay in Porto

The location was lovely right across from ocean and the view was spectacular. Place was clean but towels smelled musty and so did the furniture especially bedroom and couch. I had to wash the towels before we could use them but unfortunately dryer did not exist as per VRBO posting. so they had to dry outside which took some time since it wasn't warm enough. The place is quaint but outdated. It did not hamper our vacation as we enjoyed Porto and the surrounding area.

Great apartment, and very near the beach
We very much enjoyed Porto. The apartment is perfectly located near the beach. We had great views of the sunset (see note below). The weather was poor with lots of rain. This was unexpected in October but more due to our lack of planning. The main bus into town always seemed to take longer than we wanted. Overall a great property with a good manager and communication everything went well. We would recommend the property.

Great solace To Stay In Porto
The location was stellar and the balcony overlooking the ocean couldn’t be beat. Awesome sunsets. Showers were hot with decent pressure. The bed was comfy, but lacked robust pillows. Laundry was functional and the kitchen was well stocked.

At the ocean AND in the city!
Alexandre is the consummate host to his wonderful property. You can cross the street and stroll along the ocean forever in either direction and find many wonderful restaurants along the way all with postcard views. The view from the flat is picture perfect. The flat is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. You are an easy walk to everything. The 500 bus right outside provides a scenic ride right into Porto or to the beach town of Matosinhos in the other direction. Just purchase your tickets downstairs and you are on your way. The flat is very homey and comfortable…home away from home. We have done countless rentals over the years and we could just move in here forever. We already are planning our return in the fall. Book this one with confidence.

Excellent location and gorgeous view!!
This property was centrally located to everything in FOZ and the view could not be beat. Sunsets were magnificent. The property was well laid out--the bedroom were in the back so there was no road noise to contend with. The living/dining area was spacious and nicely appointed. Having a washer was a real plus!! The kitchen was very functional as well and cheerful--friends loved the Nespresso machine! We never used the dishwasher but there is one there and all other necessary items for the light cooking that we did. (Restaurants abound so why eat in??) Having 1.5 baths was also a plus with this 2 bedroom accommodation. Alexandre was communicative at all times and kind.

The perfect spot for a fabulous city
This is a great place to stay while you are enjoying the beautiful town of Porto. Everything is easily accessible (grocery store not far, Mademoiselle bakery too conveniently located a minute away, bus stops, shops..... it's all right there) and we were always able to find a parking spot (we arrived in November so I cannot speak about high season months). The building is quiet and clean. The suite is clean, beautiful and the view cannot be beat. Thanks Alex!

Beautiful View from Perfect Location
My wife and I visited Porto recently and wanted to stay near the ocean. We were looking for a place close to the center of Porto but not right downtown. We found this property and were impressed by the location right on the ocean. The property was just as advertised and perfect for our needs. The view from the balcony is gorgeous and ideal for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. Alex was very helpful and proactive in responding to our questions and made the check in process seamless. Parking could have been an issue as there is no dedicated parking but we found a spot on the road directly in front of the property immediately. A food store and several restaurants are conveniently located within walking distance. We will definitely recommend this property to our friends if they go to Porto.

Such an enjoyable stay.
From start to finish, Alex could not have been more helpful and considerate. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. It was based in an excellent location and we made full use of the balcony overlooking the ocean with its beautiful sunsets. The local bus service, situated close to the apartment, ran punctually and regularly. We found buying a 3 day Andante tour card a very convenient way to travel around the city, via bus, metro, train or tram. There are good restaurants nearby as well as a large local Supermarket. We thoroughly enjoyed a full day trip to the historic Douro valley, which may sound expensive at 80 Euros, but included a guide, with driver, in an air-conditioned coach, a tasty 3 course lunch at a family- run restaurant, situated high on top of a mountain surrounded with stunning views of vineyards; a river cruise and ending with a wine tasting!! However, how nice it was to return to our lovely apartment at the end of each visit. Thank you Alex for everything & sharing your home with us.
