Our room door and bathroom door were both jammed and had to be forced open. Our trash can had trash in it, bathroom floor seemed dirty. Lots of homeless noise at night outside window.

I Do not like being able to make a reservation and thinking. Everything is a o k until you show up to check in. As I've used Expedia a lot. I never had any issues with motels until last night This motel would not accept my debit card. My credit card or any other type of payment card for the deposit on the room. Show me my family Haf to stay in our car in downtown portland due to not having the right payment card for the 100 deposit So what I'm getting at is I can pay for the room. Reserve the room, have them take the money out of my account. But when I get there to check it and pay with the deposit and they decide to say. That's not an acceptable payment form. That's not okay

You get what you pay for, rooms and lobby are nice but the elevator is pretty sketch. Walkable distance to the Moda center and there’s also public transit that goes directly to the moda center as well. You have to pay for parking.

Old hotel, not kept up well
Hotel is old and run down. There were cracks in the ceiling, fixtures that were loose, the bathtub was stained and looked like it was from the 50s. Accessing the parking area was confusing. However, the staff was very friendly and provided good recommendations for dining and getting around.

The room is clean But very old. Terrible smell in the room, especially in the restroom. I cannot fall asleep because of that smell if I face the wall. I have to face the AC on the bed....My friends also have this bad smell in their rooms so I guess it is impossible to avoid that if you choose to stay here. Other than that things are good. Bed is comfortable. Helpful front desk people. Convenient to go to the conventional center. The noise from MAX is okay on the city view side with ear plug, although the floor kind of shakes some time because of the tram.

Needs improvement for sure.
Walls were thin and could hear people in the hall. AC/heat wouldn’t adjust in my room at all. So freeze, or roast. Also needed access to a blanket, no extra in room. Woke up cold had to get towels to put over me from bathroom.

Perfect for Concert-Goers.
Great place! The room was very clean and comfortable (with excellent air conditioning), and the staff was super friendly and helpful. They even provided handouts that showed a map of the area along with restaurant recommendations and sights to see. About a 12-minute walk from an indoor shopping mall, as well. The best is that it was only about a 5-minute walk from the Moda Center where we saw a concert. We felt safe walking back to the hotel at night afterwards, too, as the area was well-lit and had wide, spacious sidewalks. We didn’t have to drive the entire weekend. We will definitely be back.
