This is a very conveniently located and thoughtfully designed hotel. We stayed for two nights and enjoyed the activities and staff. I inadvertently scheduled one night instead of two. I received a call from Mary at the front desk, asking about our checkout. When I realized the mistake I was so embarrassed and anxious! Mary was so nice and said she’d give me a call right back. Within five minutes she called back. Not only was she able to keep us in the same room, she matched our price. She was so reassuring. She had checked us in the night before and despite how late it was, how many people were there, and she was the only one working, she was friendly and genuine. She really made our experience and assured that we would come back again.

The main reason we stayed at Hotel Zags was because it is close to the MODA Center and advertised as pet friendly. There is really no where to take your pet to use the bathroom....small areas with landscaping. The game room had a pool table with pool cues cracked or warped. There was ONE usable dart for the dart board. The base price was reasonable before they added on all the various taxes, Guest Amenity Fee, and $40 per day to park in their underground garage. Last night we had to listen to four hours of very loud Mexican music for a dance party. The restaurant/Cafe has a limited menu, but the food was decent. I will attach a sign that was placed in the coffee area that was inappropriate. We will probably never stay there again.

The staff was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make our experience great! Some fixtures in the room were needing repair. (Tub spout escutcheon had fallen off, stained carpet). But aside from those pretty easily overlooked things, the room was great and comfortable.

Un peu plus cher que ce qu’il paraît
Hôtel qui présente bien mais quelques points sont à noter : pas de ménage entre nos deux nuits ( le tarif reste le même pourtant…), les chambres ne sont pas très bien insonorisées ( on entend les chasses d’eau et le bruits extérieurs), le petit déjeuner est très sommaire ( mais inclus), les tarifs semblent accessibles mais il faut ajouter 30 $ par nuit mais qui ne sont pas des taxes ( pourquoi cela n’est il pas directement dans le tarif de la chambre ??)

The staff were amazing. The bathroom door would not shut so we couldnt get to the closet - they immediately changed rooms for us ... no question and so kindly. Loved the hotel and the outside sitting area. Will certainly return!
