No hot water the first night, very old room, noisy, poor quality breakfast, not good value for money, front gate and reception close at 9PM so unable to access the carpark after that time.

NEEDS lots of work to keep clean and presentable. Equipment's 's don't work. Limited food choices at the restaurant. stayed 8 nights and had to take cold showers as hot water did not work.
The staff were so lovely, the view was amazing, fully air conditioned bungalow was incredible, the location was insane! Would definitely go back!

All the rooms are located right at the lagoon and provide you with a beautiful serene view. The staff is kind and tries to help when possible.
I would highly recommend this place purely based on the view and location. However, we did have some challenges with the service and the staff there. The aircon in the rooms does not do much, but we were provided with a fan. We had breakfast included into our booking but were unable to make use of it several times as the staff arrived half an hour later than original opening times and we had to leave for our tour. We requested reception staff to book one tour for us. They did, but did not inform us that the pick up location was not at the hotel but in town, so we missed the tour.
The website advertises facilities such as a library and a dvd collection. When asking the staff about either, they did not know where to find it.
The property comes with a lovely pool, but unfortunately we were only able to use it on our last day as it was dirty and couldn’t be cleaned the first 4 days of our stay.
We were visiting after peak season and there didn't seem to be a lot of other guests. Staff were friendly but seemed a bit bored and unmotivated at times.
The facilities could be better maintained. The shower drained very slowly and the TV setup was hardly usable and looked jumbled together.
There seemed to be a rule to never replenish consumables in the bathroom leaving us to have to ask when we ran out and the shower didn't seem to be part of the cleaning routine.
Overall, we would have considered everything satisfactory if not for the fact that the airport transfer was stuffed up and they just didn't care. We had them book the transfer with Evergreen (same owner I believe) for our early morning flight and paid for it via the hotel. The transfer never turned up and the security guard had no idea what to do about it.
We ended up having to flag down a local bus which wasn't easy this early and pay a second time. Our attempts via email to recover the cost for the transfer were first ignored, on follow-up the general manager told us (via email) that the accounts department would refund the amount. The amount was never refunded and further follow-ups were ignored again.
Given that they had booked the transfer on our behalf (and with what seems to be a sister company), we feel that they were responsible to handle the refund for us.
Had it not been for this bad parting experience, we probably would have given higher ratings.
The staff were very friendly but the service was slow and disappointing. The kitchen ran out of a lot of items on the menu including beer! The complex needs a bit of attention to maintainence too.
there was a group of us staying 12 in total, we were the only ones there. The room was very basic and heat pump dripping. It took over half after ordering breakfast and that was only toast on occasions.
on day two they ran out of beer, and the next morning there was no fruit juice. Afternoon snacks were supposed to be available and when ordering a toasted cheese sandwich at 3:00pm was told that the chef had gone home.
overall the staff were polite but there was not enough of them
Nice waterfront views.
The towels need to be changed on a regular basis, and the bathroom essentials like soap and shampoo need to be replaced every day.
This is a nice accommodation in a rather calm environment. The rooms are spacious and each has a veranda, terrace or balcony towards the lagoon. The bathroom is totally fine and according to the standards in this area. I really liked the mosquito net surrounding the bed, way better than the standard ones hanging from the ceiling. Plenty of food options area available and the bar has limited drinks but reasonable enough. However, I found the prices a little bit high. There are only four parking spaces. The location allows easy access to the ring road around the island and therefore you’re just minutes away from the blue lagoon and nice beaches in the southeastern and eastern part.
The property is a little tired and just needs a little tlc but the staff were wonderful and couldn't do enough for you. I would stay there again it was not unpleasant. Their cocktails are scrummy and the food was delicious
Luckily we had our paper work because they didn't even know we were turning up. Very disappointed to arrive after travelling for 14 hours to be left waiting in the car park at 11:30pm while they worked out what to do. They gave us a room set for someone else, then just as we were starting to relax knocked on our door (around midnight) to insist they checked our paperwork again.
Devastated that our simple requests had not been met we moved to another room the next morning which was fine. Sat down to the included breakfast the first morning and ordered a tropical fruit platter. I am still processing how underwhelming it was. It consisted of 4 (2 to 3 cm) pieces of banana still in the skin and 4 wedges of sour grapefruit. I figured maybe fruits were not easy to get, went to the market and bought a lovely selection very cheaply the next day, the owner is lousy and rude.
The images make it look like it would be quiet but it is right on the main ring road around the island and there is pretty much constant traffic noise. The water pressure was pretty bad in the first room but okay in the one they moved us to. No wifi in the rooms but you could access it in the dining area. Bathrooms need repair and upkeep as does much of the resort. Tatty fabric on the 4 poster beds needed a good clean. Quite dark rooms, excellent quality doors and shutters to the balcony show the resort may have been high quality once.
Easy to get buses to town and back.
Beautiful all around. Beautiful staff, amazing room & a view to die for. Everything we expected and even more. A very laid back lifestyle, just enough out of town that it is serene & quiet. A place for people who are in no rush & who are just looking to relax and enjoy everything. Amazing

We liked the room over the waters edge we loved Lilly our waitress she makes the best cocktails ever and was pleasant to us we did not like the hard bed the fact we had to call to have our hot water reset nearly everyday. The young chef wasn’t a great cook so some days we would get great food if the older chef was on coffee was average. Because of the plunger they used. The omelette was always on point but the breads where inconsistent hard one day soft another then super soft. Our potatoe croquet was served half frozen our first morning there and the last morning we had breakfast the croquet was eggy. So meals inconsistent each day except the omelettes.
