Clean and quiet. Friendly staff and quick check-in. Restaurant on premises. Air conditioning would not work @ 2 a.m. when room got hot and stuffy (showing fault code on unit). No elevator to take luggage up to our second floor room.

This was a wonderful stopover with absolutely amazing staff. If I could have rated them higher than five, I would have. The location is quiet and convenient to the Elliston puffin viewing site as well as a short drive to Bonavista and in the other direction, the Skerwink Trail. Although the hotel/motel is a little dated it is meticulously maintained and having a restaurant on-site in a small town was amazing.

The bed was comfortable and clean. The bedroom was clean but the toilet, tub and wash basin were very old and ugly. The interior walls have no insulation at all. We could follow all their conversations and snoring.

This is a lovely hotel in a tiny town that exudes comfort in a homey way, and friendliness. Bed was terrific, along with the pilliws. The shower was excellent and easy to use. Staff was super helpful. Snd tge attached restaurant had goid food, fresh and cooked well.

We were given a room on the second floor and there was no elevator, so hauling our bags upstairs was a bit of work. The lights didn't work in our room and we had to call the management, but the gentleman came quickly and worked hard to resolve the problem. The tv had an odd selection of channels, we were trying to follow the Olympics and this was the only place we couldn't watch any events. Breakfast was discounted but food was good.

Nice stay in a nice room. Service and front desk were awesome. The shower never had near enough water pressure and temperature fluctuated from hot to cold. Other than that great spot near tourist areas. Great restaurant on site and very fair prices.

The water from the taps was slightly yellow so a sign indicating not to drink the water and a couple of bottles of drinkable water would have been good. Other than that, a nice palace. Didn’t look good from outside but the insides were decent. Restaurant is good. Glad there was an AC in the room.
