Aidan was welcoming and helpful making check-in seamless. Room easy to find, large and spacious, clean and well equipped. Laundry handy and pool quaint. Hotel very nice to stay at and proximity to main attractions, restaurants, shopping excellent. Information available for premises and local sights good to have.

Alan and Aiden, lovely hosts, who could not do enough for you. The lazy lizard was possibly the cleanest motel I’ve ever stayed in. The pool was fantastic, crystal clear water and the perfect temperature. As a family of four we were very comfortable in the room. Beds were excellent. Definitely recommend lazy lizard.

Alex and Aiden run a lovely motel just outside the downtown area of Port Douglas. Coffee, biscuits and milk are a welcome touch in the room. Small kitchen is perfect for short stay. Pool was very nice. Walked across road to 4 mile beach and enjoyed being slightly away from the main streets of PD. Easy walk into town via harbour, lots of great advice from Alex and Aiden.
