Bathroom needs attention , old shower, black mould on tile grout & seal . Ceiling paint work falling away & water stained. Soap holder in shower falling off .
Window in bedroom has a lot of rotten wood .
Bed was very comfortable & the decoration & style was tasteful .
We know the building is old but the windows & bathroom need attention.
Location great & breakfast fantastic
Amazing place to stay, beautiful property within beautiful surroundings - the staff were lovely and so helpful.
Great breakfast, very personal & would 100% stay again.
Lovely stay. Lovely friendly hotel. Good food had lunch evening meal and breakfast. Rooms are spacious and clean. So much nicer than a big hotel. Highly recommended and will be staying again
Staff were very welcoming, the room itself was very nice, bathroom was showing slight signs of wear
Breakfast in the morning was excellent and the pub itself was perfect
This is the second time we have stayed here and we were just as pleased this time round. The staff are always polite and helpful, our room was quiet and comfortable and the breakfast was lovely.

Good bar. Comfortable bed for a night. Not much selection for breakfast- cooked options. Breakfast waitress very friendly. Good value for price and location- bus stop just outside.
Although the rooms were a little tired, that did not distract from our stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, the breakfast was lovely and the location absolutely ideal.
Ideally situated for a good walk between Sandbanks and Bournemouth. The food is lovely and has a good choice of gluten free meals, which was good for me, this also applied to the breakfast.
The rooms could do with a bit of redecorating but perfectly adequate. Note that if you are a night owl or early riser you have to access the room by the fire exit stairs leading from the car park as the middle door to the pub and front door is locked as soon as pub closes and before breakfast. I feel that as a guest, there should be some other option!
I also think the price for the “Superior” double room is rather expensive for what you get. But overall it was a pleasant 2 night stay.
We stayed on a Thursday evening which is quiz night. Very noisy in our room until 10:30 when it finished. Friendly staff. Nice room. Excellent choice of cooked breakfast but would have liked a choice of cereals or pastries.
I was working in the area and came across The Inn in The Park.
The hotel is great it's a real home from home with friendly staff and large comfortable rooms with everything you might need including a mini fridge.
The bar and restaurant area are modern with a nice warm feel and the locals are friendly and chatty.
I didn't go because of the weather but i believe the beach is very nearby and Bournemouth centre is around a mile walk.
Highly recommend this place and will definitely stay again when I'm in the area( hopefully the weather will be better).
Regular visitor, always welcomed with lovely rooms
I have stayed here multiple times now, and they're always welcoming. There is off road parking, the staff are great. the food is nice. Just a nice place to stay, rather than a big hotel. Will very likely return and would recommend.
Lovely place first time i had taken my dog away with me so wasn’t sure if were both going to be put in a kennel lovely room meet friends for dinner in there restaurant my dog was happily under the table so really home from home great breakfast plenty of good walks
We stayed for 1 night in a double en-suite room. The pub is in a nice residential area of Bournemouth a short walk from the beach. There is an onsite car park. The room was well equipped, modern & clean. The bathroom worked fine but was a little dated. Breakfast was cooked to order & of good quality however is only available between 9 - 9.30 am. Even though the room was above a bar we were not disturbed by any noise. We enjoyed our stay.
