Fanily weekend away
Absolutely beautiful place. Amenties in the lodges great, very clean, and so peaceful. Lots of greenery and close to main road ao great location for days out.
HOWEVER I am deeply annoyed with VRBO after showing hot tub pictures on the listing for the lodge i was booking I naturally presumed it had one there and as it was not cheap we thought we would treat ourselves to a weekend away.
My son is young and there is no on site entertainment but me and my partner were happy in thinking we would have a hot tub once he was in bed.
When we arrived late friday there was no tub. I spent my first part of my holiday feeling gutted and being on the phone to the sites out of hours and hoseasons.
Then the next morning instead of relaxing and enjoying my holiday I was on the phone again.
Eventually after speaking to several people, feeling disheartened and annoyed it was by luck there was 1 lodge available that day so we managed to get that. This meant inconvenience of packing up again and moving and unpacking which wasnt needed but was definitely worth the hot tub which was amazing.
