Theatre trip

A great location close to Plymouth City centre, the theatre, and other attractions i.e. the Hoe, King William's Yard etc etc. The hotel was clean and had all the amenities you needed

This is an amazing hotel, near the Barbican, Theatre Royal and good restaurants. My birthday overnight to visit The Box, which was well worth the trip. An interesting and busy Turkish restaurant with a feast close. The decor was really interesting and stylish, beds comfortable. Felt as though it was relatively newly built but didn't check that - would go again.

We had a great stay, it was very comfortable with a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere. Enjoyed the bar being in the reception area and there was a good choice of options for breakfast. First time at a Moxy , parents and a 17 year old and we were all impressed.

Gym would benefit from additional equipment such as a step and a yoga mat; rooms would be better if they had a shelf or something to allow items to be taken out of a suitcase - there was only a tiny pocket & a hanging rail - how do you store socks on a coat hanger?

We loved our stay. The room was ample size for the 2 of us and the welcome note was a lovely touch. The bathroom was on the small side but it had absolutely everything we needed and the shower gel smelt amazing. We both had Caesar Salad, which was delicious and the cocktails went down a treat. We had a blast and would happily return.

Rooms are very nice, plenty of charging points. Not much soundproofing though; I was woken up in the night by upstairs banging around. Bathroom is very small but has everything you need. Spacious room. Not much of a view. Downstairs is quirky and interesting - there's a pool table and comfy seating. Complimentary cocktail voucher on arrival and 24 hour bar
