And unbelievable sunsets, every evening, right at your oceanfront picture windows. Transport yourself to the style of Mexico in the 1800's but now with air conditioning & modern appliances. Truly a unique, one-of-a-kind experience.
There's a private balcony. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. Complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected, and a Smart television is provided for your entertainment. The bathroom has a shower and a hair dryer. Rustic with a perfect view
The pirate retreat is a great spot. Yes there could be some fixes here and there but the view and feeling like you’re floating above the waves more than makes up for some deferred maintenance. The retreat I would give five stars but for the overall property I need to deduct one star as there were big parties which took over the rest of the property and made the other amenities that usable. (Eg some didn’t treat the space with respect like leaving the pool with trash in it). With a party of 50-100 or so being thrown at one point requiring extensive set up over days, it made it rather uncomfortable to come upstairs from the retreat - especially as we had asked if there were any events on ahead of time. We don’t like to be a bother or be bothered as guests so wasn’t ideal but without this we felt the place is great and the retreat itself a super fun stay.
