This was our second time staying at Condovac and it was still enjoyable. The property is a little dated and dining options are limited, but it’s so darn convenient. They have private access to playa hermosa and 5 different pools. The staff is all very friendly, even when there’s a language barrier, they do their best to help you out. The housekeepers are a treasure and work so hard to make your rooms so clean and tidy when you request service. The buffets are good quality meals and you can tell and see them cooking in the back. I do miss the old option of ordering from a menu, but the variety of dinner options on the buffet was decent. Everything was always hot and fresh. I loved the fresh juices they had out every day. You can also see lots of animals on the property, local cats, coatis, a variety of birds, and an anteater if you’re lucky! I hope condovac stays around and can update a few minor adjustments and they’d be top notch competition for any of the resorts around.

My son and I absolutely enjoyed the Condovac everyone was very nice and ready to assist us in every way. I enjoyed that we got to experience the Costa Rican life style from the food the locals. Drinking either your coffee or cocktails over looking the beach is magical. Our room was very clean and tidy. The view alone is breathtaking and worth the stay !! The bartenders are on point with all the drinks !! My only advice would be make sure you touch up your Spanish when you come here, which is not an issue but very little English is spoken here.

Condovac was a lovely all inclusive place to stay. The beach is super close and the pool areas were beau and well maintained. While the resort is showing some wear, the grounds are very well maintained, shuttle around the resort frequent, food good and the staff very helpful. We were able to make our tour arrangements on the resort which included transportation and its location was, for us, the perfect spot to relax and to connect to the many amazing things to do in Costa Rica. Thanks to Eve there for making our first time in CR amazing. Unique yours was fantastic too!

We liked the location, accommodation, and food freshness. Staff was a mixed bag; although we found everyone to be friendly and helpful during our stay, that impression was spoiled when my credit card was charged after our departure. After asking for the reason, I was first told that we were charged for a meal. After I pointed out that we had all-inclusive accommodation, the oerson changed his story and said we broke hair drier, which wasn't true. Disappointing.

There wasnt anything unique about the property. Its very old and not maintained. Our sheets didnt get changed one time. Just shameful to have a full resort and no internet access in our rooms. Only up front by the lobby. The young lady that works up front was the most unfriendlyest person on your staff. There was only one main areaa to eat, swim and see intertainment. The beach was the absolute worst ive ever seen, it is completely run down and not cared for at all. And the food was mediocre. I really believe your ad and photos on your website is very misleading and should be taken down.

I liked the transportation around the resort. It made traveling around easier. I didn’t like the fact that dogs are allowed on the property but no one enforces that their poop gets cleaned up by their owners.

We were disappointed with the staff. The front desk staff needs improvement. The staff was rude and unwilling to help, always on the cell phone ignoring the customers. The restaurant needed better options of food. Same meals every day. The room was cleaned every day, which was nice, air conditioned helped a lot. Alcohol options, beer from a 40oz pour on a glass, flat most of the time and only one kind. I wouldn’t stay there again.

We give it a try for a quick weekend get away, unfortunately we realized they don't have a defined standard for the room prices, we booked an ocean view romantic studio all inclusive and minibar, there was no ocean view, when we arrived nothing inside the minibar, no amenities, the rooms are outdated, no internet inside the rooms, multiple electricity problems during the night, and about the food? No words I'm so disappointed with this experience, the food quality horrible (we were so annoyed that we decided not to use or consume anything from the hotel), this place needs a complete renovation, better standards, better staff for the reception, but from our experience we definitely NOT coming back and we DONT recomend this place at all!!!

The swim up wet bar closes everyday at 6pm. The Asian restaurant never opened all week The ice cream stand only opened one day The maid service did not replace towels, had to ask multiple times to give us towels. WIFI does Not work in rooms.

This resort was exactly what we were looking for! We wanted the authentic Costa Rican experience and we definitely got it here. This was not a luxury hotel, but that is not what we were looking for. What we loved: the pools, the views, the friendly and very hardworking staff, easy check in and check out, the beach, the excursions we booked, the gorgeous views, the drinks, typical home cooked style Costa Rican food (breakfast was the best), pizza, hot showers, cold ac, great WiFi in common areas, wild life, shuttle, friendly atmosphere, music, soccer tournament, convenient suite layout (for a family of 5), fast bartenders, food was always hot and coming out fresh, house keeping did a nice job, comfy beds What needs improvement: roof leaked when it rained very hard, signs letting us know which restaurants are open, more variety for dinner service, better WiFi in the rooms, kids were disappointed there was no foam party, music on the kids rides, maintain nature walking trail, signs letting you know what the evening entertainment will be, add more shuttles Overall it was a great trip and we would definitely return! Pura Vida!

The resort had beautiful views from the Infinity Pools. The resort is geared toward locals to Costa Rica/ Central and South America. We were ignored and not acknowledge by staff. The food was the same no matter where you ate and the restaurants were not all open.

I never really write reviews, but I had to for this resort. It was a HORRIBLE experience, never stay here! The food was limited and lacked taste. They charge for all inclusive but there was nothing that was deemed to be inclusive. Food was under cooked. I was afraid of getting food poisoning so we opted to eat outside instead. The whole area was hilly and they had shuttles to navigate but the shuttles never ran consistently. The amenities stated 2 bars and lounges, there was nothing there for nightlife. The resort caters to the locals and staff spoke limited English. All in all worst resort I have ever stayed at. The description for the resort is lies and does not have what they sell. Extremely misleading and disappointing!

Difícil describir el servicio al cliente. Nunca se presentó el Gerente para hablar con el sobre la situación que encontramos. Fui atendido por una persona que se identificó como gerente de operaciones pero sin autoridad alguna. El día siguiente lo mismo. El tema es que lo ofrecido por la página web del hotel no corresponde a lo recibido. Se trató de mediar por una devolución el cual se negaron incluso hospedarme una noche a pesar del mal servicio. Las habitaciones no estaban limpias , no había agua caliente , no tenía internet en las habitaciones el servicio de comida con apariencia poco higienica. La única exigencia que se solicitó fue la devolución del importe de dos noche con la penalidad administrativa que pudiera corresponder. Pero el hotel se negó rotundamente ya que según ellos no procede. Se le envió un correo al reclamo una persona que no se quien es al final negando que ofrecieron todo y es mentira. Soy usuario del servicio de hoteleria por mi profesión y la verdad de la experiencia recibida de este hotel es sumamente mala y poco profesional siendo Costa Rica un país que se caracteriza por su servicio al turista y extranjero. No pretendo ahora que se devuelva el dinero , solo mostrar que lo publicado para atraer clientes al final no es verdad. Sirva la presente para que tomen al momento de reservar una hab y obtener lo que realmente vieron.

I loved it. Not bougey but for what you pay you get a lot: amazing views, nice clean pools, proximity to beautiful Playa Hermosa, cozy and spacious rooms, friendly service. And the food is just fine! Breakfast is perfect. People will always find something to complain about - go stay in a Hilton hotel. But thiis was a great start to my vacation.
