The restaurant and the Inn did not disappoint. It’s an old Inn from 1751 but the rooms are large, bed comfy and the staff is lovely. The food was superb. We had two lovely meals. Despite of the restaurant being below the rooms, it was relatively quiet and very quiet after 10 pm.
The room that I've got, wasn't the one I paid for.
After 10pm there is no Receptionist in the Hotel. I was in Room 209, but in 210 were men, very loud, slamming the door all the time. I couldn't sleep; But the worst part- I was scared. Who would I call, if these men were dangerous? Horrible night! I will never come back to stay.
Our Family stay was excellent! We were able to visit many sights within a 20 minute ride. The staff, food, drinks and rooms were A+and some.
The historical genre was all over the Inn and Fabulous.
I will be back with my sister and her husband soon and bring mine as well!
Thank You for a great stay. The Restaurant and Bar are A+. The vouchers for the fabulous breakfast right up the street are priceless because the breakfast is excellent!!
Beautiful hotel with lovely staff. The rooms are so quaint and have everything you could need. The hotel is surprisingly quiet even when events are going on.
Very nice, quaint inn. If youre looking for super modern amenities this isn't the place for you. There's no microwave in the room. The overall experience was wonderful, we enjoyed the inn, great restaurant & entertainment the night we were there. However we didn't like the bed, my husband and i prefer a firmer matress. If you're looking for a smaller intimate inn feel, this is a beautiful place. Staff was very friendly.
The staff was very helpful and the restaurant food was fantastic. The facility is clean and well managed. We love Bucks County and this is a charming Inn to stay at. Lord willing, we will return again
Very very small, only a few rooms above a restaurant but very convenient for being near Doylestown . Food at the restaurant was great. No amenities , just a room to stay in but it suited our needs for the weekend. Staff was very friendly!
The toilets rm. 311 and Handicapped in the lobby:
Rm.311 the water level in the bowl was very high and almost reached the body when sitting. The handicapped in the Lobby was very difficult to flush.
Other the Inn quaintness and age were very interesting and enjoyable.
Room was very clean. This was a unique stay because it was an Inn and not a chain hotel. I loved it. Very quaint and felt the history. The staff was very nice and accommodating.
Staff was friendly, room was clean. The rooms seem to vary greatly. We had a room with a separate sitting area and a sink and counter top when you first walked in. Odd setup, felt more like an apartment. We did see another room that looked nicer and more like a spacious hotel room.
The hotel and room was lovely, I would love to stay there again next time I vacation in the area, the room was clean and room service is great, we would put the sign on the door and leave for breakfast and by rhe time we got back everything was clean and replaced. They would even set up the little plushies I brought all nice on the bed, the sunday brunch is also to die for, and if you are a guest at the hotel you get a discount! They also left vouches for breakfast next door and for fun things in the area. Everything was wonderful and tthe staff were on point!
Very charming and quaint. The property is very old, but well-kept. Only issue we had was the light bulb was burnt out in the shower, but I simply replaced it with one of the 2 lightbulbs that were over the bathroom sink.
