Rocky Top Chalet Unit 8
The house had a great location, it was very clean, well decorated and there were plenty of towels in the bathrooms. We enjoyed using the hot tub on the deck. The description needs to be changed from a Keurig coffee maker to a standard, we brought K-cups with us and then had to go purchase coffee and filters. We also brought dishwasher pods with us only to find a sign stating "not to use pods in the dishwasher ". This was an easy enough fix, we simply cut our pods open but if you need something specific to be used it would be better to either state it in the description or have it there to be used. The only thing that would keep us from renting again would be the seating arrangements. We had 3 adults in our party, if our 4th was able to go, someone would have to of sat on a childs beanbag or a wooden stool in the livingroom, neither would make for comfortable seating if watching a program in the evening. There is room for a comfortable seat in the livingroom and this would make it a more appealing rental. All in all it was a great house with a great location and we enjoyed our stay.

The place was nice, but the bathroom rugs were dirty & needed to be washed, the blankets in the closet smelled & also needed washing & the sofa & it's pillows smell bad.

Unclean,Unkept,Bugs&Mold!
This was absolutely the worst, most disappointing, disgusting, unclean, unkept place we have ever stayed. We have stayed in cabins, hotels, resorts, vrbos,etc., across the country, and have never experienced this. From the filthy refrigerator, with a few dead bugs, molded toilets, mold in the showers, full of dust in the living room, rooms, kitchen, everywhere. The broken toilet seat, dirty floors, and dishes unclean. The sofa, the recliner, and the carpet in the rooms hasnt been cleaned in a very long time. Completely horrible and ruined our vacation. We took pictures of it all, and will share if you need us too. The mere fact that we had to call the cleaning company back out to clean, immediately after checking in(after being told our cabin was ready), before we could unpack,inspect or even take a seat,is unheard of, and means they didn't clean to begin with. The sheets are old, the towels are old, and we had to buy our own towels, and linen, just to feel somewhat comfortable. The outside of the cabin, and balcony need pressure washing, and soap, simply and TLC. We do not recommend this cabin at all. Our vacation was ruined by this, and we are still in awe. Mountain Getaway
The property was in a great location, convenient to everything and a nice neighborhood to walk our two dogs! Carpet in master bedroom definitely could have been cleaner but we understood with this being a pet friendly rental. The keyless entry lock battery died and we were unable to get inside when we returned from visiting some of the shops in Gatlinburg. We called the property management office and they were very helpful. A friendly gentleman in their maintenance department came out within about fifteen minutes to let us in and change the battery. The property had all of your basic kitchen and appliance needs. There was a hot tub there but we did not use it. The fireplace was nice for warming the living room area quickly. Our only concern with this property was the yard. The yard was full of fallen limbs and tons of leaves. The leaves were slick from laying on the ground so long. On two separate occasions both my husband and myself both slipped in the yard (and this was before the snow came). All in all we had a nice stay and the folks at Fireside Chaletts were friendly and helpful!

Cutest little house
My husband and I loved this little house. It was absolutely perfect! Would only want to change 2 things from the trip: 1) the bathroom tub needed a little more work, but I think overall it was really clean. I think it was just soap scrub from the cleaner. 2) the pet fee is a little too expensive. I think 75 is a little too much for a pet fee, but I completely get it. It is located in a great location of Pigeon Forge. There was a snow storm that came through during our stay, and the Chalets accommodating us really really well, we had to check out later due to our electricity being out, and having a pole down in the road. They called and checked on us multiple times to see if we were okay, and checked to see if we could finally make our way out. The place was overall fantastic and would stay again. I just wished the pet fee was a little cheaper for our 2 dogs, but I completely understand.

Close to everything.
We enjoyed our stay in Rocky Top chalet. Perfect location near the strip of Pigeon Forge. Only suggestion would be to have a tv in the bedroom and local channels. We will stay here again in the future.

BEST Cabin EVER
Out of all cabins my family and ive stayed at, this cabin is by far the BEST cabin ever due to its great location! Only about 1.5 miles from the strip of Pigeon Forge. Not only is it the location that we loved, we also loved the coziness and privacy of the cabin! I marked this cabin as a favorite, so I can go back and make reservations for when we come back!

There was issue after issue.....NOT happy!
Our family was familiar with the neighborhood and the locating and were looking forward to our stay. Upon arrival, we noticed spider webs INSIDE the home. My daughter and her husband had the 2nd bedroom and there was an odor they couldn't pinpoint. Upon investigation, there were yellow stains on the bottom of the curtains. (possibly animal urine?) So, we removed the curtains. My son-in-law left to go purchase laundry detergent (which was not provided). When we opened the washer, we were disgusted by the smell. Someone (the cleaning service?) placed sheets and towels in there and never removed them to dry. The smell was horrid! So, before we could wash the soiled curtains, we had to wash the linens in the washer, TWICE, to get the smell out. Then there was the issue with the dryer. We think the heating element is going up because it took HOURS to dry a normal load of laundry. I spent a day and a half just putting this house together and eliminating odors and messes left behind. (SOME VACATION!) As if that wasn't bad enough, here were the other issues: We found a child's shoe and baby doll BEHIND the curtains when we removed them. If ANYONE ran a vacuum, the would have hit them both. So, obviously, NO ONE is cleaning this place correctly. The hot tub kept shutting off because they was a toy stuck in the filter. We fixed that issue. The jets in the master bathtub were filthy with black mold (?). Which is an indication that NO ONE sprays these jets with any type of bleach or cleaner to sanitize them. As my husband would say, this house is a 20/20. It looks good at 20 miles an hour or from 20 feet away. We called the management company a couple times and no one ever answered the phone so, we took care of what we could ourselves. I appreciate that COVID has given us all a "new normal" and some businesses are not open to customers BUT, there is NO REASON, I paid a cleaning fee for a home I had to spend a day and a half cleaning and trouble shooting. The beds were also rock hard (not our style) and the sofa has seen better days. The management company needs to be accountable for the time we spent doing THEIR JOB and the owner needs to step up their game on the quality of the furnishings.

Since check in was early as 3 but could be as late as 6pm we arrived at approx. 5pm , but they called letting us know it was ready before 3pm, It’s a beautiful home offering what we were told but cleaning could be better . End stands we’re dusty , ceiling fans had dust on the paddles an sweeper canister had not been emptied ( jammed full ) , dust on some of the walls. Rest of home was clean , could offer more seating in living room . When called office about needing something they were very nice an quick to respond.
