This is a great hotel.16 nights so you can say something about it. Very quiet place ,excellent atmosphere , good service cleanliness,evrything taken care of ,food fresh and very tasty ,not a single word about it. Great place, great service ,great hotel !

The whole time I stayed at the hotel was great. To be perfectly honest, I can feel the warm hospitality from the hotel, their smiling faces are really stamp in my heart, the pool is so nice and the music band playing at the pool every night is lovely, they made the most romantic atmosphere ever. Very good service in the restaurant. Keep up the good work… will definitely come back for someday with my friends.

I totally recommend this amazing hotel. I booked Deluxe Hill View room but so kind of them, I was upgrade room with Ocean View for free. The room was very comfortable with nice view. I love it so much. Just sitting on the balcony chair, reading my favorite book and having a cup of tea makes me feel so fulfilling

We really enjoyed our stay at the Amarin. Rooms and balconies are spacious. Beach view is great. Rooms are clean, well-equiped and staffs try their best to help. The hotel has good location with plenty of ok restaurants around and great cooktail bars. Love this place so much!!

Hotel is run down - not maintained - poor food

The hotel has mostly people who don't speak English and it is run down, the breakfast is mediocre, the coffee is bad and the staff don't speak much English. We moved to Sol for eight more dollars and it is brilliant

Good stay, lovely hotel value for money

Lovely new hotel. Right on the beach, plenty of sunbeds and lovely pool area. Book the sea view rooms worth the extra money to see the beautiful sunsets every night !! Let down by pool bar and staff though. Very slow service, and minimal measures. Shame really but cannot moan about the price. Location not bad about 40 minute walk to night market on main road. Lots of restaurants bars etc on way though. A taxi costs around £2 to main town. Will return in a few years once all staff trained fully and hotel has found its feet. In saying that Phu Quoc is a very up and coming place so go now before it gets too commercialised and loses its Asian charm!

The hotel staff are sweet and the building is clean. The location is nice for walking on the beach or floating in the ocean. We prefer the ocean so we did not use the pool, but it looks lovely. We enjoyed sipping wine in the swinging chairs and in the double lounge chairs. They have quality pool/beach towels! BONUS!! The beach lounge chairs and umbrellas were nice and being able to order drinks or snacks from the beach was handy. We would likely stay here again because the value is so great for the cleanliness of the building and location on the beach. But here are the areas for improvement: - There is often a stench outside the restaurant near the bathroom. (It's not very appetizing.) - Somehow sound travels terribly through the thick concrete walls. We could hear a pin drop on the floor from above and some people chatting late into the night may as well have been in our room - it was that loud and clear. - Bug screens on the sliding doors - We left our door open for about 30 minutes and had to have them come and spray the 100s of bugs on our walls. It's nice to be in a place where you can leave the doors open and turn the air conditioning off. - They said they included an airport transfer, but they put us in a taxi, leaving us to pay. The driver was not a great communicator, couldn't show us on his fingers how much we owed him and it was a real pain, considering they were supposed to take care of us at that time. - Rent a scooter: its a ways to activities

Nice hotel. Staff might want to work on their English skills. However, they were very friendly and service minded. Very nice location. Only major issue was noise from construction site next door. They were working with heavy tool at 10:30 pm. And started bright and early.

Awesome location, beautiful views.

We spent 6 unforgettable nights in the Amarin suite. Beautiful room with a stunning view of the pool, beach and ocean from both balconies. Staff were attentive and very friendly. 5-10 mins from all the best restaurants, night market, bars etc, and a stone throw from the most beautiful beach/water. Will definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Unfinished hotel on Expedia

We reached to hotel around 12.00 pm and we were told that check-in time is 2 pm. Totally understand and went out for lunch a bit far away. When we were back to hotel, time was close to 4 pm but room was not ready yet. The worst thing is there were no more double bed room. We had a couple of argument with staffs that if there was no such room available why they did not tell us in the beginning. We are very reasonable but what made us became super angry customers is even that single bed room was not ready yet and had to wait 10~15 more mins. Actually that was my second impression with this hotel. First impression was the moment we saw the hotel, straight away know this is unfinished hotel. Contractors were still working outside. Garden is not complete yet. Key card system still has problem. Staffs are not even trained properly as they don't even remember rooms yet. No safe box too. Next, funny thing is they have room service but literally needed to go down for orders. After that they will deliver to room. If you do not tell hotel staff, there is no daily room cleaning at all. The first night we ordered room service. Next day, of course we went out for beaches but when we were back to our room, room were just like before we left at the morning and foods were already started having those smell. Really needed to call twice to get cleaned. This hotel and services are no way near to 4 stars. My last question is why did Expedia allow such unfinished hotel listed on their site.
