We checked in after midnight and the hotel photos were a lot better than what the actual property which was dated and not as “welcoming” as most hotels. Completely subjective. What really earned the rating was when we received a call from the front desk about smoke sensors going off in our room. Not your regular smoke alarms but another system that detects cig/vapes/marijuana that is unseen by guests.

From here you can shuttle to the train ato downtown or towards ASU HUGE!!! Parking was $10/day. We had free parking last time. The room had a small fridge, microwave, and sink. Due to diet restrictions, I had to prepare/eat everything in the room. There were no dishes, silverware, paper towels, etc. I had to go to Walmart to buy a microwaveable cup and paper towels. The 2-star rating is due to my appreciation for the motel's layout. When my husband is in class at Mayo Clinic, I can walk the stairs and stroll around the beautiful courtyard and feel safe. Now I need to decide if the added cost of parking and buying kitchen supplies is worth getting a courtyard to exercise in. I will definitely look for other options during the next trip.

I arrived in Phoenix Arizona after 28 hours of driving at 2am from Northern California. The Hotel that I booked was dirty, disgusting, and I could not stay there. Holiday Inn was one of the only places that would accommodate me as the timing was already booking for the next day and I could not check in till 3 pm that day. I was able to pay for early check in and I am grateful to get a room and go to bed.

Liked the size of the room, well maintained but an older hotel, nice bedding. Had a good stay. was able to get a late checkout of 1:00 which was really appreciated One down side, we found no information in room about the hotel or local area details, like restaurants & such. There is a adjoining restaurant, which I think gave room service but there was no info on it, maybe they have something at the front desk

I would not recommend this facility. I have been using hotels.com for many years and usually find the lodging information correct. However when we booked this facility we were charged a parking fee of $75, which we paid. Upon checking in we were instructed to the parking fee required on site of $13. Either the hotels.com page has to be updated or avoid this facility unless you want to pay $90 for parking - which is higher than most 5-star resorts in Las Vegas. Definite pass.

I called for two days trying to get my TV in the main room to work, but no one ever showed up. The staff said they had no idea which handyman was working. They called different numbers but said they couldn't reach anyone. I received a credit of $50. That was a joke and unacceptable.
