Stay anywhere in Phoenix downtown BUT NOT HERE !
Easily one of the worst hotel experiences in 35 years of work and leisure travel across the world. We had a bizarre experience in the evening when we returned to the room after a long and tiring day. We could not open the room with the key cards. A maintenance person tried to open with a locksmith's tool but was not able to after more than 30-40 minutes of trying. At this stage, we spoke to the reception persons again. They told us there was no other room available. An hour had passed by then and I insisted on speaking with the Manager. After some argument, a vacant room materialised on the same floor ! This was some comfort though still an inconvenience because we could not access our bags. Another maintenance person arrived then and they tried various other tools. Finally after 3+ hours they managed to get the room open and we could access our bags - including medications, passports, laptop. Through out this time, the reception persons (two of them) were totally unresponsive, unhelpful and indifferent. The maintenance guys were good, they did their best. We learnt that this was not an one off but has happened more than once in the past few days in some other rooms as well. The Manager had promised to meet us the next morning but there was no call or message ! The same level of apathy but not surprising. We checked out early with our bags at breakfast - we could not risk the same again, as we had flights booked for the evening. Overall, pathetic service levels.

We really enjoyed our stay! Rooms were specious and bed comfortable. Breakfast was delicious! Our only complaint was the parking, they only have valet parking and its like $42 per day. Other than that, staff was great, rooms clean, and we were really close to our destination!

We wanted to stay close to walking distance to Footprint arena for a concert. It was perfect location for walking maybe 7mins. Parking is valet $40 for the stay. Front desk staff really professional and friendly. They hand you water at front. Room was roomy, clean and bed was comfortable! No issues with room or noise. Will stay again so close to everything!
