Baan Chuen is in a (considered) heritage terraced building in Phitsanulok's downtown.
On the ground floor, there is a gift shop that sells local handmade items and vintage collectibles and also a hobbies cafe where people can come and work on their arts & crafts projects.
On the 1st floor, there are 2 guest rooms; private and shared which each space has its own character.
On the top floor, I called it 'Picnic area', it's an art gallery, reading room and board gaming room in one place. You can either read a book on a hammock, take a nap, do yoga or work on your laptop there.
About your room
It was set up as a guest room but has the homey touch to it under the 'Cabin' theme.
Most parts of this room are made of wood.
The room is small but it has large windows so you can get natural light and don't feel trapped.
Cons. This room is on the street facing side so it could be a bit noisy.
Guests stay in this room will have to use the bathroom downstairs.
It can accommodate 2 adults and a small person (or a child) +200THB. There're a queen size bed (5 ft) and a single bed (3 ft). The single bed in this room is only suitable for children or a small person as it was the lower bed of bunk beds designed for children.
The bathroom is downstairs. This room is on the street facing side so it could be a bit noisy. Clean towels and sheets are provided with no charge.
About the access
Guests can access the snack bar, kitchen and seating area downstairs 24 hours.
Common area on the top floor is only available from 10 am till around 11 pm.
