Very spacious apartment with VERY good price!
Simple check in, safe because of building code and apartment code. No reserved parking spots but always couple of spaces available on the joining streets. Creative apartment decor.

1970’s Pad
This apartment was a fun and comfortable stay overall. The decor spares no detail and has a spacious airy layout. There is cool art and curios throughout the apartment, a record player with a few fun records, a Pac-Man game, etc., and the beds are comfortable. It is quiet and peaceful in the apartment most of the time for such an urban location. There were a few amenities missing that would be useful for a longer stay like ours, or if there were more than two guests, such as a wine opener and a few more coffee mugs and kitchen utensils. Also there were not enough lamps so as to avoid the glaring overhead light. The 70’s being a great era for lamps, some night stands for the bedrooms and lamps in the dining and lounge area would be a great improvement. The host is very responsive and gracious, which made up for a few issues with the building that occurred during our stay. The elevator was broken for four days and so I would caution any guests with disabilities about this building. This isn’t the fault of the VRBO host and was out of his control but it did make our stay a bit challenging. Our host was responsive about getting in touch with maintenance but the building maintenance personnel seemed lacking. Overall we enjoyed our stay, and the location is very convenient to the convention center where I had an event to attend. There are also many cute restaurants and bars in the neighborhood. It was a great location for us.

What a throwback
I stayed here to attend a performance at the Met. The venue was an 18 minute walk away. Parking was easy to find near the location. I unfortunately couldn't get the Atari working on the old CRT television, but I didn't care enough to reach out and ask about it to the property owner. Would definitely stay again!

Great apartment, convenient to all parts of Philly!
Our group of four stayed here for our alumni class reunion. The pricing was much better than hotels for the weekend and it was great to be able to stay together as a group. The check-in process was so easy, and there are plenty of blankets, pillows, towels, and things for a comfortable stay. I appreciated that the bathroom was stocked with a hair dryer and body wash, shampoo and conditioner. There are also a lot of comfortable chairs around the place. The 70s decor is kitschy in the best way possible- all the appliances are modern, just in the style of 1970s color and design. I would stay here again!

nice spot near chinatown
Great affordable place nearby Chinatown and within a mile of the city center of Philadelphia. The place is very groovy with their vintage furniture, atari, and record player. Bathroom is clean, beds are comfy with foam underneath, wooden floors. cons- curtains are not dark enough to block out sun light, walls are thin as we could smell someone cooking steak throughout the place for the entire night, and I guess floors are thin as you can hear footsteps above. overall good place if you are a deep sleeper or an early morning person.
