Generally happy. Few notes. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast options were good however organization was not intuitive. Had to ask other guests where things were. Hot water took a long time to reach our taps. Noise from nearby Hotel Earl was heard in our room. Wifi was a little temperamental. Lounge area was nice. Suggest they have some Charlevoix maps out for guests to take.

The house was totally run down. The carpet was filthy and the whole house needed painting. Weeds poked out of the “landscaping “. If we could have found somewhere else to stay we would have left. Not at all what I expected from Expedia and whoever owns this place. Terrible

Recommend you ask for specific room. Although we made reservations months in advance, we were put on third floor. Small narrow steep stairs to a not great room. It is like a hostel. Fine, just not what we expected. Noisy location on main road.

Very walkable from the downtown shopping/dining area! We were in town for a family function in nearby East Jordan, which we were pleased was only a 15-20 minute drive away. The innkeepers were very pleasant. Only drawback was the creaking of being in an older home (LOL, just not used to it) and our room was in the front of the house, views were good, but could hear busy traffic during the day (less so at night). But all in all a very pleasant stay.

Check in was incredibly easy as the staff were ready for our arrival. The room was the perfect size for two people and very comfortable. Shops, dining, beach and great walks are right there ready and waiting.

The location is perfect for area events. Rooms and common areas are nice. Staff was disengaged and interacted as little as possible with guests who were left to scavenge on their own for food and utensils in the kitchen. This has not been so in prior years

This was a beautiful 3-story home, close to downtown. The Cottage room was cozy. It was upstairs. Be sure to ask for a ground floor room if you're disabled.

This is a big beautiful old home in Charlevoix, about 1-2 blocks from the bridge, pier, and downtown area. It's beautifully restored and each room has an individual personality. Very comfortable beds. A tasty and generous breakfast. Extremely helpful and welcoming staff. This is definitely a keeper for future visits to Charlevoix.
