Very Good

We probably won’t be staying again, simply down to the incessant noise coming from underneath us until well after midnight. Constant loud talking and musak that never stopped or got turned down. Not a chance of getting any sleep. Total disregard for all of us staying overnight and having to get up early the next morning. Such a shame but that is the only reason we wouldn’t stay again.
Booked due to proximity to Minack Theatre and it is a good base for exploring the area. Penzance is walkable and it’s a nice area. Bit noisy as the room was directly above the pub, but overall would recommend.

Friendly staff, good parking, close to amenities... Would recommend.. But check you have enough towels if getting up early..
Nice and clean property, large car park, quiet even though it's first time I stayed in a pub definitely would stay again, bedrooms clean, little traffic noise but nothing that kept me awake.
Greeted warmly by Liam. Lovely friendly pub with good food and very nice staff.
Lots of parking, close to everything.
Sweet room and comfortable!!
Glad we stayed 2 nights!!
A friendly reception and very convenient pub restaurant providing good food at reasonable prices with the adjacent full pub bar service. The room was spacious and clean.
Friendly staff and welcoming.
Only issues are mattress is soft and there aren’t any mirrors either in the bathroom or bedroom.
Not a quiet stay with traffic noise and from the pub below.
Fine for an overnight stay, food reasonably priced, staff friendly

Arriving at the port, there were no taxis unless pre-booked. The hotel would do well to warn guests... I phoned for advice and it was suggested that I could easily walk it in about 15 mins. However the directions were not great and it took me half an hour of uphill with a heavy wheeled suitcase to pull on a hot afternoon. I arrived very hot and tired.
The room was comfortable but noisy, looking out over a busy road and as I was unable to close the sash window.
The Pirate Inn is a local pub, and can be quite busy and noisy on a Saturday night, however the atmosphere is great. The location is good - a short walk to the main shopping area. The room was spacious and comfortable. It's a 300 year old pub, so naturally the floors are crooked! We had an excellent three nights at the Pirate Inn. Recommended.
