"We were sent to a 1 bedroom apartment instead of 2 as originally booked for first 3 nights as the excuse was that it needed repairs. However, we met the family checking out when we were checking in on the checkin day.. Although the cleaner did a good job tiding the apartment, there was mound and ceiling leak strains . The air conditioner in the 2nd room did not work and the drainage was very slow. There were only 4 dining chairs and 4 sets of cutlery and crockery in the apartment and the apartment was advertised for 6 people. It was almost impossible to contact the owner/agent who does not return calls. . On the last day, we wanted a late CHC,out but was asked to pay RM50. I refused. I am attaching the WhatsApp. Hotel.com should not accept renters like these with multitudes of bad reviews"

"A great hotel! Friendly and welcoming staff, excellent facilities including rooftop pool and gym. Breakfast was very varied and plenty of it! It was great location for us just 4 minutes from the beach and some decent walks along the sea. Grab cabs were frequent and regular for the trips into George Town old district and very reasonable! I would stay there again and recommend it!"

"This is a great place for a family to stay for a family holiday (we stayed for 3 weeks). Modern, clean and safe. Each room has own on-suite bathroom. They clean twice a week, which is great! There is a convenience shop at the bottom of the hotel, a lovely pool, a beach with beach sports (company called Seafarers - great guys and I would recommend them any day). Overall, the comfort of the hotel apartments helped make this one of our best family holidays ever. I would go back if I ever come back to Penang. "
