We greatly enjoyed our stay at this Resort. It was right on the beach, the room was beautiful, and the staff amazingly helpful. There did seem to be an everlasting towel shortage while we were there but the staff were friendly and helpful in ensuring this caused as little inconvenience as possible. I would highly recommend getting a ground level beach facing room!

Excellent beach and nigh light of the trip ! great staff who is more than accommodating to individual needs , great buffet selections meal times balance between western and south Asian cuisines. If I had to give a small advise of improvement it would be hotel should install a coffee machine or keep brewed coffee available, it would have been great but we still managed with self service sachets which was available

We really enjoyed are stay at this resort. It does lack a pool bar and the pool itself is very small, but the sea is right there. The rooms are very good and the service excellent. The food in the restaurant is very good although expensive compared to the rest of Sri Lanka, plus service charge and government tax is added on.

On the way to being calm
Great location,lovely pool,beautiful rooms,service was poor due to lack of staff and the staff that were there seemed to be there all day and all night. The shower was amazing although it flooded daily,buffet food was a bit bland but for the price we paid we were happy with what we got. Also there was no spa! Great gym though!

Good rooms - just don't eat at the restaurant
Our booking was for half board. The food was poor throughout the stay - often cold, overdone or not actually cooked. When we ordered off of the lunch menu the food was very overpriced for what were then given, which again was cold and barely edible after a long wait. This is such a shame, as the rooms and pool were superb. Shame that the food lets this place down. The resort had just opened, but it has opened without many of services advertised being available. For example, there was no spa, limited alcoholic choices (so many of the cocktails actually couldn't be made). To top it all off, the resorts name implies 'calm'. I'm not sure this term can be used when you have a poor out of tune Mexican troupe walking around the dinner tables as you eat. There was no escape from them. Such a shame

Hotel open before they are ready.
Nice hotel. But they still have a lot to do. Hotel seems to be unfinished. All the workers very nice. Hotel beach are needed to improve. Cannot walk without shoes. Hotel does not have any kind of entertainment. If you are very active person this is not for you.

The hotel is New, it Was a bit empty... It is very confortable, but all the area is full of resorts, and you feel like one more of the tourist.... Rooms are really nice, shower is huge and modern, nice finishing....special rooms
