Amazing Lake Front Property!!! 3 BR cabin on 30 serene acres on Lake Tenkiller

Come enjoy rustic luxury at Cedar Valley Cabin!  Our cabin sits on 30 secluded lakefront acres on beautiful Lake Tenkiller with a stocked pond for fishing and trails for exploring. After a day of outdoor activities, you can grill and relax on the sprawling deck as you watch the sun set and when night falls nothing beats a crackling fire and roasting  marshmallows at the fire pit.   Early risers can walk to the cove to drink their coffee while watching the morning mist roll off the lake and listening to the birds sing.  Maybe you will spot a deer,  wild turkey or other wildlife in the area!  While the property also adjoins 600+ acres of core land providing rustic privacy, it is also conveniently located only 5 minutes away from the Oklahoma Station convenience store and Park Hill Community, and only 15 minutes from Tahlequah, the headquarters of the Cherokee Nation.  Cherokee Landing State Park is also a short 5 min drive and Illinois River Floating is a 30 min drive.
A key feature of this property is the year round activities it offers-fishing, hiking and ATV riding can be enjoyed year round, and in the summer use of the private dock makes it easy to cruise around the lake and enjoy a meal at Cookson Bend Marina, explore Goat Island, cliff jump, or just stay back at the cove and swim and fish right off the dock!

The Space
Comforts of home greet you when you walk in the front door!  The 1900 sq ft cabin sleeps a total of 10 and was thoughtfully remodeled from floor to ceiling in 2021.  The fully equipped kitchen and huge center island with gas burning range, is the perfect place for preparing meals for family and friends. And the best part is the open view while you're cooking!  There is plenty of room for everyone to gather around the extra-large dining table to share meals and even more seating at the island. A perfect setup for holiday meals.  There are 3 main living areas to relax in: a cozy hearth room off the kitchen with wood burning stove and flat screen TV, a sunken living room with lots of seating that looks out on the deck and the lake beyond, and a comfortable den for watching movies or playing board games. The layout is open and the expansive windows bring the outdoors in and invite you to sit back, relax and enjoy views of the woods and lake.  There are 3 bedrooms and two full baths: two beautiful master bedrooms with queen beds and flat screen TVs , and a kids room that sleeps 4 with a bunk bed and a speedboat trundle bed .  The sofa in the den also folds out to sleep an additional 2 guests.  The laundry room is equipped with a washer and dryer as well as a folding table for your convenience.

Great place! Pretty views!
Our family and friends had a great time here! The house is nice and the windows give off a great view! Lots of sitting areas which was nice. Kids had lots of land to explore outside, nice trails to walk. The view of the lake was pretty! I bet it would be great in the summertime. Kids enjoyed fishing even though they didn’t catch much. The dock is a tad wonky in a few places. The house could’ve been a little cleaner in my opinion but all in all it was a nice place to stay!

Relaxing weekend
We are so happy with our choice to choose this property. The house is beautiful and very comfortable. So many places to sit and watch nature. We will definitely be back as often as we can. The road in is a little rough so be cautious if coming in a car.

Secluded and cozy Christmas getaway
The house was gorgeous, check in was easy. There were Christmas decorations and plenty of cozy amenities. We had a lot of fun hanging out in the kitchen and dining room while the kids watched movies in the other room. It was a great stay!

Wonderful secluded property
Lovely house, amazingly secluded property. Wonderful dock for fishing and swimming. The house should have be cleaner. There was hair in the shower and on the floor with large dust/hair clumps rolling around the floor. No open food was left out on the countertops but the ants still came marching in. Large amounts of excess cut grass were left on the porch and driveway which tracked in the house quickly as if lawn care isnt handled but once or twice a year. AC unit above master bed was very loud during the night making it difficult to sleep. Sounded like it had ice in the fan.

SO FUN
The whole family had a great time. The driveway is very steep and is difficult if you have a trailer or lower car. Other than that it was beautiful. The kids loved swimming off the dock and fishing. We rented a boat at Cookson Marina and had a blast. This is a perfect location most properties on this lake don't have easy access to the lake. Overall wonderful time.

Quiet Getaway
Absolutely loved our stay at the lakeside property. It’s quiet, secluded, and the cove that the dock is located on has minimal traffic from other boats. I look forwarded to going back for future trips! Cannot recommend this place enough.

We had a great time and enjoyed exploring the property and the lake. There was plenty of room for our family of five and my parents. I would stay here again. The road to get in and out of the property is steep, but worth the adventure.

Beautiful lakeside property
My husband stayed here for the weekend while on call at the hospital, and we came up to visit for the day. The property is beautiful and spacious. Our three year old enjoyed roaming around the land. It is directly on the lake with a dock. It’s truly a beautiful home with plenty of area to roam.

Peace & quiet
I needed a relaxing, peaceful to get away and not see or hear another person for a few weeks. And aside from when I left the property to go to the store, that is exactly what I got. Beautiful scenery, fresh air, the house is very accommodating & comfortable. I would recommend & more importantly I would stay at again.

Amazing Place - Best place I Have Stayed.
This property is amazing, if you are looking for seclusion, woods to walk, trails to ride, fishing to do - it has it all. We have been renting around tenkiller for many many years now (over a decade) and this is our favorite place. It has become the go to. The owner is Prompt on replying to questions and very friendly. In my opinion this property is way undervalued / undersold on the pictures, (if I could post my own I would here. I could not recommend a place to stay more than I would here.

Lovely private house
This was the perfect spot for my family (me/husband/teen daughter + my father/stepmother) for our annual fall break meet-up. There were so many great spaces to gather - 3 different indoor couch/chair spaces, a couple of different outdoor spots, plus a nice, large dining room table. The kitchen had plenty of room too. The decor was lovely/cozy and the furniture was really comfortable. My husband brought an inflatable kayak and took it out several days. The lake was very low, so it was a bit further to get to the water, but was still easy for him to carry that down there and put it in. We played some of the games they had there, and also cooked a number of meals in the house. It was an easy 15-minute drive to a grocery store in Tallequah and we enjoyed our meals at Big Red (close to the house) and Katfish Kitchen (in Tallequah). None of us are from the area, and first time in OK for two of us. Three of us did an easy day-trip to Tulsa, which we really enjoyed. While this house worked great for us, I do want to give a tiny heads-up that there are a few different sets of stairs (1-4 stairs) throughout the house, and they're of varying heights (including a step up into one of the bathrooms). My 80-year-old stepmother fell two times the first day because she just didn't expect one of them (it was dark into that hallway) and she misjudged the height on the bottom step of 4 coming out of the kitchen. She was okay for each of them, but one of them scared me. If you have anyone frail or who needs a handrail for any steps this might not be the best fit. That said, my husband/daughter/I would totally choose to come back here if we were back in the area!

Amazing find
I’ve never felt more at home while away from home, you definitely need a suv or pickup to get in and out. We seen all kinds of wild life from deer to fox and caught plenty of perch from the dock and pond. The sitting area outside was very comfortable and the host was great. We are looking forward to going back next year

We so enjoyed our stay at your cabin. We loved cooking meals in the beautiful and well-stocked kitchen. Our kids had a blast playing in the sunken den and they loved the bunk room with the boat bed. The gorgeous views, comfortable beds, s'mores by the campfire and our walks in nature made our time so peaceful and memorable! We will definitely be back for a return visit.

Beautiful Property
The house was beautiful and very clean. Lots of room to spread out. Short walk down to the lake and the views were fantastic. The kids loved all the walking trails and exploring the property. The road and driveway down to the property is very steep with loose rock and gravel. DO NOT bring a boat down to the property. We couldn't make it back up the road and had to call a tow truck to pull our truck and boat back up to the highway. We also had to find somewhere to park it for the rest of our stay. Hoping this saves some hassle for future renters. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay. Nice peaceful getaway and would definitely stay here again......just won't bring the boat :)

Great property with plenty of outdoor activities!
My mom and I rented this property together, so we had 3 adults, 2 teenagers, and 3 nine year olds. My husband was great about taking the little ones fishing. My two little girls had only fished a couple of times before, but they left here with great fishing skills! We hiked along many of the trails and even made our way down one of the wash out areas. We never found the second pond, but the fish were biting in the one closest to the house, so that was fine. The property is so expansive. We could have explored for days. The only negatives were the heat, which couldn't be helped, and a couple of ticks, which are just to be expected in the remote area where this is located, especially when we went off the rock paths. We saw a couple of deer between the house and the lake our last morning. The view and privacy can't be beat. I'm glad my mom and I both drive SUVs because the steep drive made it a little difficult to leave the property, but we managed. We all had a great time, and one of my kids is already planning for us to go back next summer!
