The hotel property itself is lovely and is in a great, very convenient location but the reception service needs vast improvement. We emailed in advance of our stay asking if it would be possible to make several reservations. No reply for 3 entire days, despite multiple follow ups until I tried reaching out via Expedia for them to finally reply on the original email. This should’ve been the first red flag. The night of (which happened to be my husband’s birthday), we asked them to reconfirm our reservation only to find out they made it at the wrong location- even though we specified the exact street in our email. If we didn’t proactively ask them to reconfirm, we would’ve ended up at the restaurant with no reservation at all (they would not have been able to accommodate us as walk-in) and we had to scramble to find a reservation last second for my husband’s birthday on a Friday night. We were clearly disappointed, especially after having a poor experience asking them to make a reservation and there was no follow up from anyone the following day.
It is a shame because we were looking forward to staying there but our stay was sullied by the hospitality gaps from reception. Everyone else beyond the front desk was kind and lovely. I understand they just opened, and I hope they can improve as there is clearly some hospitality training still needed.
