Great and well appointed property
This was an ideal property for our needs. It was very clean and comfortable. It’s also very convenient for the metro and has lots of good eating and supermarket options locally too. The property was very well provisioned and the host was helpful and responsive at all times. Access would be challenging for less ambulant people.

Very nice apartment in unmatched location
We had a great 5-night stay. Just enough space for my two teenaged sons and me. Clean, comfortable and well-appointed. And the location is unsurpassed -- steps from a Metro station and surrounded by excellent restaurants and cafes. Can't be beat.

Good location, several restaurants and stores within walking distance. Peaceful neighborhood. Metro station just up the stairs with access to different sites of Paris. A very nice home away from home. Property was available and pleasant.

Great Location
We had a wonderful stay at Marilyn’s in Monmarte. So close to the Metro and great restaurants and shopping. The area is so full of history. It was so easy to get around to all the sites of Paris. The apartment was quiet and relaxing with everything we needed. Marilyn was always available, if needed. We would recommend this to other travellers. I hope I come back some day. Thank you Marilyn.

Great Location
Literally steps away from the Metro. Which is just a few stops to Place Dela Concorde if you are visiting the Louvre and Jardin des Tuilleries. Lots of bistros, bakeries and restaurants nearby without the tourist trap price as well as fruit stands, pharmacies, bus stops and convenience stores. The property is very secure, modern and has all you need for short stay for 4 people. We ate out or brought food so we didn’t utilize the kitchen, but it’s clean and have all you need. Walking distance to Montmatre and Sacre Ceour. Easy cab ride to Gare Du Nord.

VRBO Gem in Montmartre, Paris
We stayed in this apartment for 10 days in September 2019. We found the place to be modern clean and very adequately furnished for 2 people. The owner was very accommodating to any queries we had, and responded immediately. The location was great, steps from the Metro Line, a restaurant across the street and very close to local markets and a supermarket. We were within easy walking distance to Sacre Coeur with all the local artists, vendors, restaurants and bars. We would highly recommend this apartment and would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed being so close to the Metro! So convenient for all our Paris expeditions. The apartment was very neat and had all the amenities we needed. The bed and all the other furniture was comfortable. Will definitely recommend to friends!

Welcoming host, clean flat, but with some late night noise
The flat was very clean and host was gracious even though we arrived early because of a flight change. The upstairs neighbor had a party one night until 2:30am and awakened us a different night as well. The owner apologized, but, of course, can not control the other apartment noise or the metro rumble. We felt some amenities were lacking, such as soap. If I were to make suggestions, I would have the owner leave a list of recommended local restaurants, (We have stayed in other Paris apartments where this information was most helpful.) The owner responded quickly to my email message. We intentionally left two things in the frig and some coffee for the next visitor.

Outstanding apartment in Montmartre
This beautiful and large apartment is located near the metro Lamarck stop, so transportation to and from Paris center is easy. The apartment has balconies both in the living room and in bedroom facing an internal yard/patio giving plenty of natural light. The apartment is nicely decorated with a well-appointed bathroom, a comfortable living room and a small kitchen that nevertheless has all the necessary stuff (including a convection oven) to prepare a nice meal. Marilyn is an excellent host and she was waiting to give us many recommendations of places to visit in Montmartre as well as directions to a market area a few blocks from the apartment where you can find wine merchants, fishmongers, butchers, fresh and local produce, boulangeries and so on. You should consider two minor issues regarding the apartment: 1- there is no elevator, 2- although the apartment has double paned windows that effectively block outside noises, you will hear people going up and down the stairs and walking on the top floor. So, if you are sensitive take some earplugs since staying at Marilyn's apartment is worth this minor discomfort.

Beautiful apartment in a lovely neighborhood
We stayed in the apartment for 3 nights in July. The apartment was well furnished with a fully equipped kitchen and was spotless!! We are a family of 4 ( 2 adults and 2 teens) and the apartment was fine for us. We did sleep on the fold out couch which was actually comfortable! The apartment is just a few minutes walk from the subway. There are several restaurants nearby and only a 10 minute walk to Sacré-Cœur. There is a convenience/market store at the end of the street. There is a restaurant across the street with outside seating but it quieted down by the time we went to bed so that was not a problem. We took a taxi to the Eiffel Tower area and did our sightseeing from there. The taxi was only 15 euro each way. The apartment has no AC and it was hot but at night it cooled down. We were not in the apartment during the day so the heat didn't bother us. My ONLY suggestion for improvement would be a fan. Other than that the apartment was wonderful!! Marilyn was very accessible by phone or e-mail for any questions we had. The directions to access the apartment were very thorough. The bathroom was very nice and clean and had a blow dryer and a hair straightener and plenty of towels. I would definitely recommend this apartment!!

Excellent experience!
Mme Marilyn is very responsive and flexible, answering all questions very timely. Her apartment is spotless and very well appointed, in fact she has thought of everything. Lovely apartment in a great neighborhood.

Marilyn's apartment in Montmartre was a great place to stay while visiting Paris. The apartment was very comfortable and clean with good heating and water pressure for the bath, nice linens and lots of dishes and equipment for a lovely stay. There was even a Nespresso machine for morning coffee. Marilyn was quick to answer any emails both before and during our stay. The area is convenient to the Metro and buses. There are several bakeries and supermarkets close by as well as many good cafes. I can highly recommend this apartment. Thank you Marilyn for sharing your lovely space.

A good stay with a couple of shortcomings
The location was good The apartment was clean Quiet neighborhood Not enough hot water for 2 showers one after the other. The water gets cold quickly. There is no shower head. There is only a tub with a hand held sprayer which means you cannot stand up and take a shower.

Well located and adequately furnished
This apartment is well located near the metro and restaurants. Absolutely loved Montmartre. The reason I am not rating the apartment highly Is the mildew smell in the apartment coming mostly from the washroom. This smell was obvious as soon as we walked into the place. Note the apartment is on the second floor (two flights of narrow steps since the ground floor is considered floor 0). Make sure you don't have too heavy luggage. Other than that it is adequately furnished and stocked.

Wonderful apartment in the heart of Montmartre
The apartment is spacious, cozy, and very well located. We were there when Paris was hit by a heat wave (95+ Fahrenheit) and we were happily surprised to find that the apartment, being on the second floor and with no direct exposure to the sun, remained pleasantly cool throughout. The neighborhood with its cafés and terraces sprawling into the streets, and a variety of local restaurants makes you feel like you are truly on vacation, There are great cheese and pastry shops nearby . And, of course, the whole of Montmartre is fun to explore as long as you do not mind climbing stairs. I recommend a visit to the Montmartre Museum, just a 10 minute walk away.

The perfect Paris Experience!

Perfect place to explore Paris from
This was our first visit to Paris for my partner and I, and we could not have stayed in a more perfect appartement. The proximity to the Metro 12 line not only made all of Paris' historical sites totally accessible, it was just a short hop down the stairs to get home from the station after a long day of sight-seeing. Check out the bar La Refuge at the top of the stairs if you want a nice place to get an espresso or a glass of wine and some frites, or go down the street to Chez Zena for some good Lebanese take-away. Having the apartment as a home base allowed us to explore comfortably, as we'd hit up the marchés and boulangeries on Rue Damrémont for breakfast to eat at home in the morning, and come back at night and wash our dirty clothes before crashing. I was particularly charmed by the windows that opened onto a courtyard. Except for the distant rumble of the 12, it was completely quiet at night. C'était parfait! Merci beaucoup à Marilyn!

Perfect apartment, perfect location - stunning Montmartre
This is a really lovely little flat, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It's really close to the Metro, so you can enjoy the whole of Paris, get to and from the Gare du Nord easily or just walk up the hill to the Sacre Coeur and take in the views. It's a little way from the main tourist area, so you can find great restaurants and interesting shops nearby - including two supermarkets and a number of boulangeries. I would definitely stay again.
