At the beach you'll be amazed at the beauty and wide open spaces. The local maps show the beach location as "Wild Dog Shore". Our research uncovers this name was used by local fishermen in days long past, however some maps show Wild Dog Shore on the shores of nearby Lake Wellington.
Regardless, your pets can play and explore while you take endless strolls along the shoreline beach-combing and shell collecting. The beach changes almost daily and is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the serenity. Many guests have seen dolphins, whales and been amazed at the teaming sea birds as they follow the school fish along the shoreline. You will be amazed at how few people there are along this wonderful 90 Mile Beach. For fishermen there are some ideal spots to throw a line in and try your luck at catching flathead, whiting, salmon, snapper and more.

A favourite place are the various wetlands where bird-life are teeming around the shallows foraging for food. There are many other places to explore including the Trinculo shipwreck just past Golden Beach toward Seaspray.
