Summary:
Our 2021 constructed craftsmen cottage is nestled in the woods but very close to Palmer. This is a quiet 8 acre parcel but only 5 minutes from breweries, shops and restaurants in downtown Palmer. Close to Hatcher Pass, Independence Mine, Glaciers, Hiking, Musk Ox and Reindeer farms. The owner's house is also on the property and they are available to you throughout your stay. The owners have lived in Alaska for over 40 years and are committed to helping you with all there is to experience!
The Space:
Forestlane Cottages were designed and built solely by the owner with simplicity, efficiency and quality. The cottage and windows are situated to provide privacy but yet enjoy the outdoor space where it is located. Enjoy the private cedar wood porch in the morning sun or midday and evening shade from the surrounding trees. The cottage living room has a gas fireplace and reclinable couch chairs to enjoy a tv show or relax from a long day of adventure in Alaska. The kitchen is provided with all the utensils and cookware to provide guest everything they need to make a great home cooked meal.
Guest Access:
All guest have access to the full cottage and the surrounding woods. The quarter mile driveway through the woods and the half mile access road is vey lightly traveled and offer a pleasant walk and fantastic views of the fields and mountains that surround Palmer.
