Come enjoy the knock down Mountain Views towering behind the house...Stretch out by the salt water pool and grab a drink- and get ready for serious rest, relaxation and fun! House was completely updated in the Summer of '23. Amazing outdoor spaces include a huge fire pit, loungers for sunbathing, great BBQ with counter, and an outdoor dining pavilion under a pergola with an overhead light, heaters and a professional mister system that lets you enjoy being outside regardless of weather. This Palm Springs Alexander features walls of glass and the dead-on mountain views- the ultimate in California indoor/outdoor living. Simple, Elegant, FUN! CITY ID 1058

The classic Mid Century open style of this Alexander makes it a perfect entertaining space. The kitchen and dining area connect to the great room with vaulted exposed beam ceilings, a 75 inch Samsung Frame Smart TV in the living room, large windows with incredible Mountain Views and several sliding glass doors providing an abundance of light inside this hip desert retreat. Amazing sound system with a cool retro Wrensilva stereo console, play records, blue tooth from your phone, or use Sonos. You’ll find the kitchen well stocked with anything you might need to enjoy and have a great time.

All 4 bedrooms have king beds and Samsung Smart TVs. Two bedrooms have their own private patio space with chairs to relax. En suite baths for the two master suites at opposite ends of the bedroom wing. The bathrooms are new and updated with skylights and windows to keep things light and bright. There is an outdoor shower for your enjoyment. One bedroom has a desk if a workspace is needed, and we have a standing desk on casters that can be used anywhere.

We closely follow the City of Palm Springs Vacation Rental Ordinances. No Outdoor Music, Max guests 8 (listed on rental agreement), 3 Cars allowed. Violation of City Ordinances will result in fines and eviction with no return of rental fees. CITY ID 1058

Rent from the owner- no hidden or very high "Host" fees that third party agencies will charge. You communicate directly with me and my local house manager. I love sharing my home with people coming to enjoy Palm Springs. We charge the rental rate, cleaning, and tax. The pool is heated at your option for an additional fee. We offer a 10 % discount on weekly stays and 15% discount on monthly stays (these are calculated automatically with your quote). Monthly stays are not subject to the City TOT tax, and we do not charge for utilities (other than pool heat at your option).

Vista Las Palmas is known as the "Beverley Hills of Palm Springs" Oscar nominee Jackie Cooper owned this home and neighbors included Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, Dean Martin, Peter Lawford and Dinah Shore (home now owned by Leonardo DiCaprio)!

The location is terrific, walking distance to downtown Palm Springs and the famous Palm Canyon Drive Strip. People are attracted to the neighborhood for the same attributes that made it popular originally. Vista Las Palmas is close to downtown -- 15 minutes by foot -- yet feels remote because it lacks streetlights and through traffic, has all utility lines buried, and is in the shadow of the San Jacinto Mountains.

Residents love gazing at the hills, which provide the neighborhood with an awesome backdrop. You wake up and see the mountains and your pool. Imagine back in the heyday when Jackie Cooper owned this house- Think that Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., and Frank Sinatra could have cavorted out by the pool... Peter Lawford's open-beamed home is in Vista Las Palmas- imagine Marilyn Monroe stopping by -- and so, people say, did Jack Kennedy.

Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. The property is on a regular maintenance schedule (pool and landscaping). We closely follow the City of Palm Springs Vacation Rental Ordinances. No Outdoor Music permitted, Max guests 8 (listed on rental agreement). 3 Cars allowed. Violation of rules will result in immediate eviction with no return of rental fees. The City of Palm Springs responds to complaints 24 hours a day and will issue you a $500 fine. Security cameras film front and side of property for safety of property and people. This property is absolutely stunning, no surprises, it's exactly as in the photos. Plenty of room inside and outside for a group of 8 adults. A well equipped kitchen. It's approximately a 30 min walk to the main strip of Palm Springs. Margaret is a fantastic owner and very quick to reply to text. Would rent again in a heartbeat.

Amazing house for a ladies weekend!
This house is gorgeous and an amazing location and view! Great spaces to hang out inside and out. The pool is bigger than the pictures make it. Everything was super clean, stylish, and organized. Plenty of towels, lounge chairs/seating options, and comfortable beds. Property manager and home owner were both super responsive and accommodating. We had an amazing time and I would definitely stay here again!

Gorgeous house with incredible views
We had a wonderful stay at this property. The host and property manager were very communicative and the check-in and checkout was seamless. Our flight arrived early and they were already waiting for us. The house is absolutely beautiful, the pictures do not do it justice. The mountains are so close and gorgeous pool and hot tub. We had plenty of space for 8 of us, fully stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Palm Springs. The property is less than 10 minutes from downtown with lots of restaurants and shops. We had one small issue that was dealt with immediately by the property manager. They were very good at communicating and quick to respond. We would definitely stay again, thank you!

Perfect Palm Springs House
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed this house. Very clean, well laid out and comfortable. The backyard is spectacular. We requested the pool heated and it was perfect. Loved the hot tub and that awesome fire pit! Strict noise rules meant we had a very peaceful stay which we appreciated. Beds are quite firm but comfortable, with nice linens. Having all king beds and plenty of bathrooms was also a plus. Seems guests are expected to check in personally with manager to learn how to work things in the house. It was difficult to find a time that worked so in the end we didn't do it, but it was very easy to figure everything out from the helpful notebook. Manager also wanted to do a walk through of the house when we checked out but we had to leave early and couldn't comply. Would be good to know that ahead of time so guests can work that into their schedule and make time for it. Communication was easy and prompt.

Amazing place!!
This property is absolutely wonderful. We have rented countless properties and this is by far the nicest! Very clean and well kept. Amazing views, gorgeous grounds and high end furniture and amenities. Small details like stocking paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher pods, etc made it extra convenient. So much better than the cheap starter packs so many rentals offer. Margaret was absolutely lovely to deal with as was the house manager. They both were super responsive and helpful. We were met by the house manager as soon as we arrived in Palm Springs and were able to start enjoying the home right away! I would note its a very quiet area so noise could be an issue. We kept the music inside and didn't have any issues. Will absolutely recommend this property!

Amazing rental!
Great spot for 7 women in our 40s on a college reunion trip. We were able to check in early, which was a huge benefit. House was clean, as described in the listing, with beautiful scenery. About 15-20 min walk to main road for coffee, drinks, etc. but plenty of nice walks and trails right by the house too. Highly recommend.

Where do I begin ... from my first detailed interaction with Margaret, this vacation rental experience was an A+!! She shared all the pertinent information with me in advance, gave me details on the heated pool & hot tub (FANTASTIC, perfectly heated and delightful every day of our stay!). The check-in process was friendly, easy and informative. Communication between the house manager, owner and myself was efficient and friendly. A detailed instruction book made it easy to understand how to use everything associated with the house. THE LOCATION is FABULOUS! Easy walk to town, great walks around the neighborhood and up on "the wall" (you'll understand when you stay there ... amazing views & high trail is outstanding. All of us had a wonderful time and everyone wants to come back. Thanks Margaret, Marshall and Michael for being such great hosts.

Exceeded all expectations. Location was so quiet yet close enough to walk into town. Kitchen was comfortable to cook many meals in and the outdoor spaces provided lots of room for everyone to enjoy being together or apart. The pool and spa were a highlight. There was an abundance of all essentials (towels, glasses, etc) that made our stay better than a five star hotel. Hope to stay again on next trip to Palm Springs.
