#4 Shriner Peak Lookout Trail 18+ Shared Bath

The Shriner Peak Trail room has deep vintage hues of gold and silhouette and exquisitely detailed wall paper. A double window looks out over the library grounds and local businesses. The queen bed is deep and inviting with 4 pillows. The reach-in closet has a shelf and a place to hang your clothes. The antique vanity has two drawers and feature an extra shelf with the mirror. We've kept the original wood floor but put down an area rug to keep your feet warm. We keep fresh towels in the top of the closet for the bathroom just a few steps down the hall. If you visit in the autumn, gazing south and east out of your window beyond the weeping willow manicured by grazing elk, the glow of a rising moon shines over the town.
This is one of nine unique rooms and suites, each decorated with combinations of William Morris wallpapers and light and dark hues. All are named for local hiking trails. The hotel has two main floors and an old-west covered wrap-around deck ideal for lounging and gathering. Eight of the guest rooms and suites are on the hotel's second floor, with the ninth in the adjacent ground level cabin. Each room accommodates one or two guests, age 18 and over. All second floor rooms and suites are accessed by stairs.

Five hotel suites have private bathrooms with tiled showers. Four have access to two shared bathrooms and showers a few steps down the second floor hall. Each guest bathroom in the main hotel boasts classic black and white hex tile floors and subway tile showers.

Amenities include free wifi, thoughtfully sourced plush towels, luxury bedding, two types of pillows, luggage racks, hair dryers, Comphy embroidered robes, and Public Goods bath products. Full length room-darkening curtains insulate for sound and temperature and encourage deep restful sleep. Additional toiletry items are available upon request (toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, insect repellant, q-tips, emery boards, personal feminine items). A phone is located in the lobby if guests need to make a call. Locally roasted coffee is served every morning, with breakfast service coming soon!
Make yourself comfortable in your air-conditioned apartment. There's a private patio. A private bathroom has a hair dryer and toothbrushes and toothpaste. Conveniences include blackout drapes/curtains, and housekeeping is provided on a limited basis.
Guests will find features like wireless internet access and onsite parking.

Liked: Cleanliness
Beautiful and Historic
We really loved our stay here! The floors are noisy, but they provide a fan in the room that helped create white noise so it really didn't feel loud in the room at all. We were nervous about sharing a bathroom, but we never had an issue. It stayed clean and well-stocked. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend!

Cozy room, right in town
We loved our room. It was a peaceful retreat from all the commotion during the Packwood Flea Market. We enjoyed cracking the windows and hearing live music from Packwood Brewing in the afternoons. Very clean and cozy. We felt right at home
