A classic building, beautiful views, hillside sunsets and fantastic infinity pool. We appreciate buildings in general such as this, that provide more timeless seaside traditional features, while the building is "older" than some other options it felt inviting and always clean. The location is great for those who want to be situated outside of the hustle and bustle of some of the busy beach areas, with ease of access to most other locations throughout the island in 20 minutes or less.

Our room was not in good condition - it smelled bad, some appliances were dirty when we checked in, and the kitchen sink was leaking. Also, the linens were stained to the point we weren’t sure if they had even been washed. We expected more from this resort although we did enjoy the pool and the veranda restaurant.

Staff was very friendly and made sure our stay was top notch. Service fees a bit much. Took a while to figure out how the fees were applied. Air conditioning kicked out over night, repaired next day. Pool beautiful. Morning fresh pastries were yummy.

The ants are real. Property is vast and they clearly needs more staff. Some of the front desk staff were rude. Bring your water bottles because the rooms have no water bottles. I got a wine bottle though. Very boring for kids. Ideal for quiet and rest. Only 2 restaurants options, or you can walk to Big Fish (big $$$)

The resort is an older property but it is VERY well maintained. The staff is top-notch and so accommodating. The restaurants offered an array of menu items and the market and gift shop were stocked nicely as well. My favorite part of my stay was enjoying all the activities that they plan each day! You could always choose to lounge around the beautiful pool area or partake in a game of bingo, do a little dancing or just relax in your room/suite and enjoy the beautiful views.

The staff at Oyster Pond were excellent and they provided a good range of free entertainment. The daily happy hours at the bar (buy one/get one free) was great. The outdoor pool was refreshing, with lounge chairs and umbrellas always available. The only drawback is the beach, due to the sargassum (seaweed) there is a smell and it has to be raked daily. If you’re content with the pool, it’s a great place to stay, however if the beach is a must for you, consider staying elsewhere on the Caribbean side.
