We changed our reservation from 3 nights to 2 nights when seeing the price went up another hundred dollars for Sat eve of the long weekend. After we were checked in, we went out for dinner and received a phone call from the owners, asking us when we were going to check in. I told him we already checked in, they asked me what room I was in…?!
Lots of cracks in the tiles in uneven floor and musty smell. Bathroom mirror hung directly above the sink at stomach height, where you couldn’t even see your reflection and weak water pressure.
The tiny TV hung in the corner of the ceiling (why the ceiling?!) did not work, staff had to fix although the reception/quality of picture was horrible on the outdated device.
We forgot my daughter’s down duvet there, when I contacted them, they acted like they didn’t know what I was talking about. I had to push and they said oh well we do actually have real duvets, but we only use them in the winter so that’s why we didn’t notice. 👀
This isn’t the worst of all of it though, I wasn’t going to leave a review until receiving my credit card bill and noticed that I was charged twice. 💸👀
I called and also emailed the proof with screenshots of the charges and was told I’d be reimbursed. I called to confirm And was told the owners would do it after 11 even though I was speaking to the owner on the phone. The husband grabbed the phone from his wife, and spoke down to me and then hung up. I will issue a dispute if I do not receive repayment by noon
