Our check in was fine. The accommodations were not. Our room was at the end of the hall. There were cigarette butts and a plastic knife in the hall outside. The room next to us had the lockset pried off. We had one, but the door had been attempted prior with the pry marks to show. Our non smoking room had ash and cob webs on the furniture and floor. The ice Machine was not working and propped against the wall at the entry. Christine moved us to a different room that smelled better, but pry marks and a neighbor door that had its lock set pried off were the same as the one we left. We did not feel safe. The carpet was worn and needed cleaning. We went out to eat and backed the car up against the bushes on return to help protect what was still in the vehicle. While our car had not been tampered with in the morning, the car parked across from us had two tires slashed and a window smashed. The accommodations resembled a flop house. With the deficits of this location and the ick factor, I would remove it from your offerings. The back building is the Econlodge and I connects to a nicely appointed Quality inn.

Tv wouldn’t work, someone tried my door at two am. It was dirty and dingy
They did not receive our reservation before they gave it away. The room was very poor quality: old bed, furniture, smelled poorly. The staff person was not trained and was doing her best given the situation.
I booked this lodge for a 2 night stay. I didn’t even stay on site for more than 3 minutes. This place is FILTHY. From the check in area, to the foyer of the area of the lodge you’re staying in, to the room itself. The bathroom had hair all over it. Several again on both sets of bed sheets. Gritty carpet. I felt EXTREMELY unsafe. I looked in the hotel room and cancelled my reservation and booked down the street.
There was a Hole the wall & a large chunk of paint pealing off the. The roof was leaking in the hallway. A Continental breakfast is not dried out bread or english muffins for you to toast or dry cereal in my opinion.
Didn’t even make it into our room multiple hallways were pitch black with no lights on pulled up the building completely dark front desk lady was very nice hotel shares lobby with other hotel?? multiple doors had their handles ripped off or just didn’t have any at all door key didn’t work just left key cards and went and booked room across the street at another location would not recommend

The doors were broken didn’t shut properly, the ceiling was falling in the room . No one at the front desk to check in had to call her twice . Hookers in the hallway!
It’s an older building but it was clean. Hallway and outside area was well lit. Desk clerk was efficient and helpful. The free breakfast was good and gave us a good start to the day as we continued with our travels. Breakfast area was well stocked and clean.

This property was very run down and outdated. Nothing like the pictures. It had a 8.2 rating but was definitely a 3.0.

The room was clean, it had a fridge but no microwave or phone. Key card didnt work everytime and did not work on the outside door. I had pets with me, so was easy to get to the room.the breakfast was cereal and toast.
The outside of the building had major damage. The hallway lights were just light bulbs without covers. There wasn't any towels or wash clothes in the bathroom. I asked multiple people multiple times for them and was ignored. There were stains on the carpet. The a/c was cool, but not cold. There was dog hair and sand on the other bed that i didn't notice until the next day. The outside doors didn't have locks on them and the front door was hard to open. Two employees were arguing outside at time off arrival. The location was good. That's the only positive about the stay.
the Econolodge is the back half of the property - joined to the Quality Inn in the front. The back half is uncared for and there are residents living in it long-term. We refused the room and were offered a room in the much better Quality Inn for the same price. They need to either improve the Econolodge or close it - it should not be a branded motel! Choice system should drop it!

Yay and Nay
So our first stay last weekend was wonderful. The from staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room was good for a place to sleep for one night. The second time we stayed was this recent weekend and the room was not in the best condition. The sheets had stains on them, there were no comforters on the beds, the bathroom wasn’t fully stocked and some other issues. Called down to the front desk and they offered a new room which I checked out and one of the beds had ash and hair and stones? on it so went back down and unfortunately they didn’t have anymore rooms available. They offered sincere apologies and sent a refund. It sounded like they were having some issues with the housekeeping staff, which I do feel for the front desk. It can be hard to keep good staff. Overall, Candice was a gem and very welcoming and sweet.
