Hum! My room was 90 degrees when I arrived. No gluten free or protein options for breakfast. Close to family and fairly quiet with trains running by. Staff are friendly.

Smelly and exhausting
When we first arrived after a very long day, I settled the kids in while my husband brought up the luggage. We sat down to eat and watch TV only to find out the TV had no picture, only sound. They were able to come up and get the picture to turn on but it was so fuzzy it hurt my eyes. We decided to go swim instead. The water was so cold, the kids got out after about 10 minutes. There were no pool towels and I had to walk back to the front desk. They had none but did end up bringing some down later. As we approached bedtime, I went to pull out the sleeper sofa for my daughter, only to find it was completely broken. She ended up just sleeping on the regular cushions since she is small but it was an exhausting night. The entire first floor smelled like a dead mouse and the pumpkin air freshener they were using to cover it up did not make a good combination. We will not be returning. Overall, the staff was very nice and tried to help but the hotel itself is so rundown.

Too much hassle for a hotel stay
Every day was a new adventure with our room. There seemed to be a major disconnect between the booking system and the front desk computer system. The room we were booked into seemed to daily disappear from the system cousing an almost daily stop at the front desk to correct. We were booked in for 6 days. On the final evening, another guest attempted to use a key card to come into our room, unsuccessful but returned 10 minutes later with hotel staff and opened the door but were unable to enter as we had the security lock in place. When I brought this up the next morning, the front desk showed we were already booked out and that no one was in the room. The week seemed to have us checked in but a mystery of what room we were in. The front desk was very helpful, however it all seemed like a needless waste of time. We understand the staff shortages in all areas of hospitality, however I do not think this a staff issue and more of a technology issue.

The reason I chose this hotel was because they advertised a restaurant/bar, it was even on their sign out front. It was closed the entire time. We had 1 bath towel, the bed was like sleeping on cardboard, no extra blanket, there seemed to be about 4 core staff who worked the desk and cleaned. They were friendly and accommodating, but stretched very thin. Night staff were always asleep. The weeds in front were huge! One thorn “bush” came up to my chest. The hotel was clean and free of nasty odors, and as mentioned the few staff that they had were nice, although not helpful with transportation information or shopping suggestions. Overall I give them a generous 2,and would not recommend.

Good enough
Needed a room while working in the area. Room was pretty quiet and clean. Could not find any outlets near bed, only one on desk lamp. No way to plug in phone and laptop for working. Room was dated, pillows were small, thin, misshapen squares. Overall decent enough. Overslept a little the next morning so missed breakfast before needing to head out for work. Used a lot of key cash for this booking and without it, I’m not sure this room would have been worth a price tag over $100

I booked a room on 08/17 called to let them know I would be checking in late around 2 am I was told by Michelle I would not be allowed to check in at that time and that she would cancel my reservation it has been a week yet haven’t received a refund I called for an update & was told by Michelle there are no refunds & that I was given wrong information when it was her I talked to when calling the first time asked for a manager and turns out she is the manager completely rude and no help at all I will be calling corporate to see about my refund

It was a nice property. Some of the things in the room were upgraded, some weren't. The carpet looked like it needed to be stretched back into place, there were areas where it was raised. Also, the cable TV reception was bad, it was a snowy picture which was odd. And the air vent in the room was very noisy. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. Staff was great though!
