Hilton Gargen Inn for your overnight stay
I always like staying here on my way back and forth to Iqaluit, NU. It has a full service restaurant with a great menu and generous portions, and a comfy lounge area for waiting for the shuttle and taxis/Uber. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and most rooms have a mini fridge and microwave. They also have a selection of snacks by the front desk, including popcorn if I recall correctly. The only thing is last time I stayed they only had a 5 passenger caravan as the shuttle, so opt for a short cab ride. The parking is also free and a good amount, but often full at the front. It's just minutes from the airport. There is a Fairfleld next door, but no restaurant on site over there.

The room was nice and the area was safe. We chose this hotel for the pool and what I those was a free breakfast. The pool was under renovation (though they did make arrangements for us to use the pool at the hotel next door. We did have to use our room towels for the pool though, and were not given replacement towels, so we had cold, wet towels in the morning) and breakfast was $17 per person. The pool in the hotel next door was beautiful.
