There is construct occurring right next to the Andaz. Deep excavation is happening and there is constant jack hammering and heavy machinery being used to break up bedrock. The hotel rooms were vibrating and construction occurred 7 days a week, even on weekends beginning at 7am.

I stayed at the Andaz last year around the same time for 3 nights and was really looking forward to being back again this year. We were producing an event at the EY Center and decided to stay at the Andaz (even though its 20 mins away) because of the in room dining, nice rooms and overall amazing experience. Unfortunately it was not at all the same experience. There was no in room dining services for the duration of my stay nor was the restaurant open. The construction was absolutely terrible, ear plugs couldnt possible help. The jackhammering started at 6am, there were large bangs and the rooms were shaking. The housekeeping cleaned my room by took away my bathrobe so I didnt have one for the rest of my stay. All in all it wasn't the experience I was looking forward to and wont be back next year.

We are from USA State NJ, great location, to access Parliament Hill, many restaurants and virtually on Byward Market. The staff were kind, nformed last minute that works were ongoing in the street and hotel was affected by noise early in the morning , no parking and no warning of no parking was inconvenient and expensive. The cleanliness was below average. There's no fan in the bathroom. Overall it was a terrible experience and I would avoid this hotel if possible
