Great House!

Welcome to our place in Otematata. Fully refurbished, the house is in excellent shape and has everything you could need for a quick stop or a relaxing break. New kitchen, bathroom, furniture, carpets, appliances, heat pump, fire and double glazed windows. Sparkling clean, fresh linen, super fast WiFi and a Smart TV - all you need to do is relax.

The house is located in the middle of the village and is a short, flat walk to the playground, park, shop, District Club and pub. Suitable for groups or families, the house has one Super King bed, one Queen bed and 2 brand new single beds. The bathroom includes a large shower but does not have a bath. There is a BBQ and a picnic table on the large deck. For mature travelers, the house is stocked with tonnes of wine glasses, bubbly glasses, platters for snacks etc. The section is fully fenced and well behaved dogs are welcome too.

Please note the following:


- $65 cleaning fee;

- $45 linen fee charged for stays less than 3 nights. This is not a money maker, the charge is what we pay the laundry for providing clean sheets, towels, bath mats, hand towels, tea towels etc for your stay;

We have a 2-night minimum stay at all times, a 3-night minimum stay over long weekends and a 7-night minimum stay over late-December and January.

Another great stay
After wee hiccup at the start we had yet another great stay in this gorgeous wee house. With our adult children and dog, this place was perfect. We have stayed here previous and exactly what we need for our annual fishing weekend with friends. Definitely be back for 4th stay 😊

We had a wonderful stay at this house in Otematata with friends. The house was clean, welcoming, and well-equipped, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, especially when we needed extra heaters during an unexpected cold snap. The fire was lovely and cozy. We have stayed in this 3 bedroom home before and it is great for 3 couples. Great partly covered veranda where you can all relax in the sun and cook on the BBQ. This house has all you need although the coffe mugs are huge. Next time we'll bring a middle size pot as it has 2 small and 1 very large pot. Very very warm house. Didn't need fire and only had heatpump on once for a short time. Great for a dog as well. What more could you ask for!

This was a brilliant location. The house is really lovely, well equipped and very warm. Was perfect for the four of us. The fences and gates were great for our wee dog and awesome to be able to get the boat up the driveway. Thanks we would definitely book again.

Excellent place to rest in the Lakes District
Perfect setting for a bach in a small, rural town. Very quiet and relaxing. Bach was ideal for a family of six. Highly recommend. Cleaning, towels and sheets provided for an extra charge is well worth the money. Had everything we needed. Bathroom is small but shower is large and so lovely. Bedrooms have good mattresses on beds and house very clean. Thanks Chris & Amelia for the use of your Bach. We will be back for sure.

Very well appointed and well presented bach. Great location close to amenities, shops and the park. Excellent off street parking, plenty of room for the boat. Comfortable beds and linen, new washing machine, dishwasher and excellent shower; the Bach had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend.
