We requested for a non-smoking room but the room smells like cigarette. The carpet is wet maybe because of the AC. The floor/ carpet is not clean, we can see balls of hair.

The place is very run down. I believe it’s safe but it doesn’t feel safe. The pool is closed indefinitely, but you only find that out when you check in. The lobby stinks of marijuana because the smoking area is right outside the front door. Few of the folks who work here speak nor understand English. Breakfast is included but it is really terrible, seriously I was surprised at how cheap it was. There is almost no lighting in the parking area. This property is Not what is advertised.

Was not a big fan, patch work done on what appeared to be a leaky ceiling. Water from the shower was rough on the skin. Breakfast was ok, had better free breakfast at a Days Inn, as well as better upkeep. The pillows were very lumpy, and the key cards barely worked. Positive: Lots of hot water, good amount of storage, good location for short distance to drive into surrounding towns. Bed was decent. Room itself was spacious.

Worst hotel ever
Worst. Stay. Ever. Extra fees not advertised, advertised amenities not available, wrong room given, key cards not programmed correctly, filthy hallways that smell like smoke, in-room tvs don’t work. You don’t expect a ton from a Travelodge but this was beyond bad.

Skip this hotel! The lobby area looked fine. It was the area where the rooms are located that things went bad. The hall carpeting looks to have never been cleaned. The hotel is supposed to be a smoke free environment but hallway at the back if the hotel reeks of cigarette smoke. Our room reeked of cigarette smoke. The room darkening curtains wear torn. The pillows felt like they were filled with hard, golf ball size wads of fiberfill. The security lock on the back entrance door was broken and didn't lock.

The pool is permanently closed, the rooms are clean, but need upgrading. The whole place needs upgrading. Wouldnt stay there again unless they renovated.

Nothing really unique about the property. clean, well maintained and close to amenities. Go train across the highway and food and entertainment within a couple of km. Clean room and nice beds. Would love a black out curtain in the window as we were on the ground level and streetlights shone in our room all evening. Requested towels to the room but was told at front desk there was no room service but he could get them for me. Heading to toronto for the evening so asked if I could pick them up when I returned at one or two am. he said certainly but the poor woman on the desk had no key and I was not the first guest to request an item that she could not retrieve due to the door being locked?!!? Not a big deal but a confusing situation for sure. And when I checked out there was no one around (at check out time) so I was unable to enquire about the situation Enjoy your day my friend
