We stayed at this property for four nights primarily for a Universal Studios event. Since we were out most of the day, we mainly used the space for sleeping and storing our belongings. For that purpose, it was fine—the price was reasonable, and the location was definitely the best part. It was conveniently close to Universal Studios, ICON Park, and the airport. The property manager was generally responsive to my questions, but when I mentioned seeing small bugs near the kitchen sink twice, those comments were ignored, which was disappointing. Additionally, the blinds and curtains could use some attention—several kitchen blinds were broken, leaving large gaps, and some curtains were sheer. As a woman traveling with other women/girls, I prefer more privacy, even though the backyard is fenced. The kitchen was functional, and the appliances seemed newer. However, the bathroom could have been cleaned better, and the towels, sheets, and blankets had a musky smell. I’m not sure if it was the detergent, washing machine, or hard water, but it was noticeable.Overall, this rental served its purpose, but I wouldn’t book it again and hope the host implements some changes to address what I noted here.
