I left a personal item (blanket) in the room on the bed. We were already on our cruise ship when I realized and immediate called them. They stated they didn’t find anything n blanket! Really?? The only reason why took it out was because the sheets were so thin I was freezing! So obvious that housekeeping stole it! My fault for leave ng it in error. We were only there for on night! Watch your stuff because housekeeping staff is not honest! Would not recommend staying here.

The hotel is run down. As you walk into the door, there is a second pair of doors that traps the smell of cigarette smoke. There is a very busy clerk trying to help everyone, with success and a smile. She was very kind and professional. When we entered the elevator, there is only one, it took a very long time to climb 5 fights. Once we entered the room, there was a musky smell. It appeared very clean, besides that smell. The bed linen had this nasty smell trapped in the fabric. It was a place for us to rest our heads. But we will not be ruturning.

This property used to be better years ago. It has every indication of having fallen in the hands of the usual suspects of the hotel industry...judging by the string budgeting decay. Probably will continue its decline until the bulldozers will have to be brought in in a few years at the pace it's going. Breakfast its churned out of a broom closet with a microwave, not a kitchen. Science fair powdered "eggs" , Roundup-positive cereal and mystery meat sausages you'll be burping all day long, kindly reminding of the mistake you'd committed. Property now also infected from this poisonous "charging guests for parking" that has plagued this town...it's truly an epidemic, sadly. This hotel will get the job done, if you keep expectations low, and get it south of 90$ bucks out the door. A mere penny more and you are getting robbed for what you get. Sad to see how this place has fallen...
