Very Good

Nice staff and hotel with comfortable rooms, but the drive way leading to the hotel is terrible. It's basically a one way with no where to turn around. You need to pray you don't hit another car turning into the hotel. We actually saw an accident where one car hit a tree and another hit a fence trying to pass one another on the lead in. It would be comical if it were not so frustrating. The road leading in is small even by Irish standards. Also, it is a bit secluded from restaurants and shops. You have to drive about 20 minutes to get to any social scene. Which is fine until you get hungry or want something to do outside of the room. There is no air condition in the room. It would have been fine if we left the window open, but I didn't want a snake to crawl in from the ivy surrounding the window, only to find out there are no snakes in Ireland. So, open your window and you should be cool enough.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Le restaurant sentais la cantine… et la nourriture était aussi mauvaise qu’à la cantine…. Que ce soit le soir ou le matin au petit déjeuner.
Hotel vieillissant sans charme
A residence with character, simple beauty and charme. Recently renovated, it could have benefited by the installation of some additional features. In example the rooms do not have Air Conditioning. It is not often needed in Ireland, but Summers are getting hotter there. Included breakfast was excellent and well served with a variety of local products. I will stay again.
Well situated, within walking distance of the centre of Oranmore. Good sized room. Very clean. Good Coffee making facilities. Good shower. Dining room well priced. Would certainly use again.
It was an excellent stay just because of the friendly staff at the hotel. Very nice and polite. The restaurant staff who served us was excellent! We couldn’t tip her as we did not have cash and missed to include in the bill. She deserves a great recognition for her work.
We wish we could have stayed longer.
The Oranmore was an excellent hotel, comfortable and clean. The our room was large and had everything we could have wanted.
It had lovely facilities and plenty of free parking available. It was only a very short drive to Galway but you’d certainly be best to travel here by car.
The hotel was beautiful, we wish we would have stayed longer. As Americans, there were a few things to get used to at the pool (caps need to be worn in the water, etc) but the staff was nice about pointing out the rules and provided caps to wear.
This is a beautiful property, set back from the road so you don't get road noise while you're trying to sleep. The pool area is nice as well. Nice breakfast options and easy check in/check out.
A nice hotel, though a bit overpriced. I's about 5 miles from Galway city centre, so expect to pay for taxis or to drive.
The bar was noisy, with a crowd of worse-for-wear golfers monopolising the area so we didn't hang about in there. However, I'm sure at other times it would be a nice place to sit and have a drink.
Breakfast was good, though again a little bit expensive.
Business trip. Needed a tidy hotel to stay in. Hotel is quaint and very clean. Staff were lovely and v friendly. Younger staff on summer work def need more training on the way they greet customers and take orders- not that they were rude but the language they used when asked a question- like Ya instead of Yes or Saying howya instead of good morning…etc… basic etiquette
