The staff were attentive and very professional. The only downfall was the property itself. It needs a major upgrade. There was a bunch of mold and grout in the bathroom, holes in the linens, and stained throw pillows. Bed was comfortable and the room was large. Water pressure was fantastic but the temperature could have been warmer. Biggest complaint is that the WiFi was very spotty in my room and ate into my data plan when I wasn’t near the restaurant/bar area. Food was okay and overpriced; typical for a tourist resort. Rooms are not soundproof so it’s very noisy in the morning as people are getting breakfast and housekeeping is turning over rooms. I would not rate this a four star hotel, it is barely average.

The property was extremely clean and the staff at the front desk were very welcoming and helpful. The views from the balcony are incredible and despite the property being dated it is obviously very well cared for, as it is in good condition. The rooms are spacious the beds are comfortable and the linens were good quality. The location is peaceful and the balconies are spacious with incredible views. The breakfast buffet was tasty with a generous selection.

The hotel was good for the price! Breakfast was okay as well. As we walked to check in the lady was so rude to us her name was teresa she told us to wait for her in very rude way, as we waiting on her another guest lady came in and asked her why did you hang up the phone on my face!! They started a very aggressive conversation teresa was very unprofessional with her.

The hotel was wonderful! Especially the pool and dining areas. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. They have a great shuttle to the beach and it’s a quick drive to town.

Good hotel, bad breakfast

The hotel in good condition with amazing views and great infinity pool. However, breakfast was awful, with cold food (scrambled eggs or bacon).EVERY DAY THE SAME for six days we stayed there. Optional dinner overpriced and with small portions. You must have a car as the hotel is located outside Olbia with very limited public transport.

The hotel is very very very dated Our room smelled so bad with air freshener you would think that they were covering something up Air con broke had to have someone in and reset the panel, fridge barely worked We also accidentally forgot our child’s stuffed animal - after speaking to the hotel they said they would charge us 50 euro to send it home. That is just gauging us - we paid almost 700 for a terrible room in a terrible location and then to gauge us for the return of the stuffed animal is terrible. We have just stayed in 4 other hotels in Rome Florence and Sardinia and this hotel is not worth it even for one night. Don’t stay here.

My daughter and I stayed at Luna Lughente while in Sardinia. I can’t speak highly enough of their staff. Very friendly and super helpful in getting us information we needed and scheduling of reservations for the beach. While the hotel was clean and the view was amazing, the look and feel is extremely dated and is in desperate need of a renovation. It feels and looks sad.

Not a four star hotel.

We are a family of four who stayed at Luna Lughente, advertised as a 4-star hotel, but the experience fell far short. Positives: The pool is large, clean and great for kids. The hotel itself is clean, rooms are decent, and views from the pool and café are lovely (though beds and pillows were uncomfortably hard). Parking is plentiful, it’s quiet at night, and beach towels/umbrellas are provided. A few staff stood out as genuinely friendly and helpful, especially at reception and in the café, and cleaning staff were excellent. Breakfast was decent and dinners varied. Negatives: Service in the café was shockingly poor—staff rarely greeted guests, made us feel unwelcome, and were unhelpful. Coffee options (breakfast) were limited to a poor-quality machine, and food quality at lunch was disappointing (including undercooked chicken in a salad). Staff scolded my wife and kids for sitting at the “wrong” table despite it being quiet, and lunch service was very slow, with other guests also complaining. I was even told off for using the main door instead of the revolving one. Reception staff (beyond one or two exceptions) were unhelpful, offering only a generic restaurant list and refusing to make reservations. Many staff spoke little English, making communication difficult, and Italian-speaking guests were clearly given better treatment. Overall, poor service overshadowed the hotel’s positives, and I cannot recommend staying here.

Lovely pool area with exceptional views. Nice bedrooms with decent sized bed & bathroom, cleaned daily. Good choice of food at breakfast time. Although I would recommend having another tea/coffee machine. There always seemed to be a long queue for that. Also, an option of fried eggs would’ve been nice. We had 1 issue with the manager/ staff - we were a large group of 9 people, 5 rooms in total. We got lunch from outside 1 day & they refused us permission to sit anywhere other than our rooms to eat it. I explained that we were too many people to be squeezed into 1 room but they still didn’t help. I also had my elderly mother with me which they didn’t take into consideration. I asked for any little quiet corner anywhere on the grounds that we could use but they refused. I found them to be very unaccommodating & unhelpful, even after discussing with the manager. Other than that issue, all good.
