The staff were friendly. The pool was nice. Housekeeping was awesome. We did find several bugs. The tv kept glitching and turning off multiple times. There wasnt syrup in the dispenser for the waffles. Hopefully it was a coincidence. I would recommend it forvthe future. Hopefully these things will be addressed.

Avoid line the plaque if I was you, just gross
Checked into room to find bodily fluid stains on office chair, regular chair, and bed…along with massive stains on carpet. Front desk agent gave a second room and found similar staining on all the same surfaces, along with smell of marijuana in halls. For third room the agent came with me and yet again found stains on chairs, bed, and carpet. No manager available he claimed to discuss this, just on the phone. Absolutely disgusting and shows lack of care by management or lack of oversight/inspections. To have 3 rooms with big stains on carpet, bodily fluid stains on office chairs, stains of some kind on regular chairs, and each bed having stains….just unacceptable for any price you charge.

The reception staff at the hotel really couldn’t have cared less . They were apathetic. What they did do was absolute minimal with little effort. The WiFi was so opposed to be high speed . I went to reception as I daily had to log in over 20 times to get internet and it was incredibly slow. The receptionist said “what exactly do you want me to do about that”. I brought this to their attention several times but nothing changed . The help yourself breakfast was nice but they didn’t check to top up if there was no bread of milk so if there was none that was it . It was nice though to be able to make own waffles and cereal. The house service staff were nice and changed linen daily in room and re made bed daily . Carpets were heavily stained in my room , really heavily stained . The hotel said it was no smoking but residents / guests clearly were smoking weed and cigarettes as there was a lingering smell in my room from previous guests and when you walked along the corridor there was evident smoke coming beneath the gap in door. It was nice to have a refrigerator and a microwave in room which helped overall. The night porter was also pleasant and helpful. I understand the owners and reception staff ( possibly their family )are not American they seriously need to visit local outlets and learn about customer care and service . Life isn’t about I’ve got your money now go away, it’s about getters no return business and a good reputation. The hotel needs a good refurbishment .

My bathroom had mold all over it and they tried to tell me it was because the cleaner was new and didn’t see it. I was not going to shower in there and they refused to give me any compensation back or do anything about it.

The hotel was on the cheaper side so i took a chance. The check-in was quick and easy. The property area seemed a little sketchy but it was right off of the interstate and 6 minutes from the zoo and close to eating options. The motel looked updated and mostly clean but very worn in some places. Our room seemed nice. The bathrub had something questionable in it but we wore shoes in the shower otherwise it seemed clean. Shower pressure was amazing. The beds were pristine and very comfortable. We slept well. The breakfast had no hot items (other than waffles) but they did have prepackaged breakfast sandwiches in the fridge. My kid's favorite was the pool and hot tub. It wasn't fancy but they liked it. The hot tub jets were powerful. They did work, but you have to read the sign to figure it out. The morning attendants seemed grumpy. They came in to tell us our son was not supposed to be diving. We were confused because he's 7 and can barely swim and uses a floaty. Evidently they didn't want him even jumping in. We were the only ones there.

Front desk staff was amazing, smelled and looked good in the lobby, elevator, and hallways. Room was very clean. We stayed the weekend there for our anniversary. Not far from Downtown. Quite location as well.

When I got to the propertyto check in my card got charged twice on top of the 100$ deposit and they couldn't get me a paper saying I'm getting refunded so my bank could take it off of hold they said from there end i was charged only once my whole two days staying there for my vacation I was mainly trying to get my money back it's been 3 days and I still don't know when I'll have my money back

Decent Hotel - Not so good business
Overall, the biggest issue I had with my stay was when I was asked for a credit card to place a hold for incidentals. The attendant did not swipe my card into the system but instead hand wrote my credit card info onto a sheet of paper on his counter. Not only does this lack professionalism, but it is against the policies of the credit card companies and could lead to the loss of being able to accept credit cards. Being in an industry that charges credit cards daily, I know that you have violated your PCI compliance which to me is a huge red flag. I will also make sure to see if I can report this issue to VISA since I know they lose tons of money in theft due to these issues.
