First time visitor to Okinawa, Japan, and loved the welcoming setting and modest accommodations close to the airport. Reminds me of being on a cruise ship--a good feeling, really, on a vacation with compact bathroom, fridge, air condition because Okinawa is a little muggy right now. I loved the bed and the varietal pillow firmness. I was pleasantly surprised that I liked the pillow that felt like it had heaps of sand or gravel in the casing; it supported my lower neck which was therapeutic. I appreciated the Shisheido bath products and actually thought to inquire about the hair conditioner if it was available for purchase at the front desk. The staff was kind, competent and unassuming, never overwhelming with that kind of oozing artificial personalization which is annoying. Best experience was the wholesome breakfast in a traditional tatami room where I took in the positive energy of this space and soulful food of both Okinawan and Japanese cultural goodness. I will stay here again and take my family here on my next, upcoming visit.
