The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was really good. Had scrambled eggs, waffles, plenty of fruit, pastries, and yogurt. One thing to be improved is communication with guests for major events that might impact access to the hotel. The Ironman race was going on while we were there (we were participating in it so we were aware). What we didn't know is that because the race went right by the hotel, we wouldn't be able to drive our car to the hotel all day. Up to midnight. It would have been nice if a notice was placed maybe in the breakfast area the day before or we were told when we checked in, so we would be aware that we couldn't bring the car back to the hotel all day. It worked out for us that I was able to park at another location and walk back, but if I had mobility issues or some other issue, it would have been a huge inconvenience. But otherwise, the property is very nice and a good deal.

Made 2 different reservations as plans changed and after the 1st night the staff made us check out the following day at 11am and wait until 4pm regular check in. Asked for early check in and they said they would try to accommodate…. At 3pm they still had not contacted us and I asked if we could use the shaded pool area as my wife and I had our 10 month old baby and it was 38C outside and they straight up said “NO”. Who does that? We had 2 nights booked and yeah I understand separate bookings but I mean come on… have some understanding. The following day we check into a different hotel and even though we were early and the room wasn’t ready, they still let us use the facilities like any normal hotel would. Very unfriendly front end staff

First time we took our dog. Rules were laid out when we arrived and everything went very smoothly. Would totally do it again. The property is beautiful and welcoming and well taken care of. Love staying at this hotel .
