It was nice enough but one gets the air of there being crime rampant in the area. The lamp also randomly stopped working, the tub is set to not drain and the air conditioning unit was seriously outdated. Otherwise customer service was helpful and courteous, breakfast was filling, rooms were otherwise clean.

The Elevator was broken with no sign. Had to use stairs for three floors. Found out later there was another Elevator on the other side of the Motel. I wish there was an "out of order use other elevator" signage. Very unprofessional in my opinion.

The hotel is very rundown. I chose this hotel because it's close to Lagoon and the swimming pool looked nice from the pictures. The location was not bad, close to the highway and 15 minutes from Lagoon. The pool, however, is tiny! It was 93 degrees outside, and they had all the doors open and no air conditioning. A woman was sitting just outside the open doors smoking and drinking alcohol. We woke up Saturday morning to find someone had vomited in the elevator. We ended up driving home Saturday instead of staying that night.

The property is starting to show its age. Could definitely use an upgrade. Overall, the property was clean, but we did experience fruit flies in the bathroom. The bathroom showed its age more than the rest of the room. Did not have any issues with the staff and the breakfast was good.
